Good work pencil hard wood & pencil lead

Picked up the “new” upgraded mechanical PaperMate at WalMart which now has a yellow body instead of the classic gold one. Their new mechanical pencil is no better than the dime store cheap pencils. It writes way to light and is not the lead quality of the old classic. Not soft and is brittle. Can tear thin paper.These wooden ones are much better lead quality and make readable marks.They are the quality of the long produced Dixon #2. And have the same lead readability of the old mechanical PaperMate before it got dumbed down.

Nothing wrong with the pencils. They are shown sharpened nicely, but they are not. Very, very short sharpened. So still had to sharpen them for use in my card club.

Iv had issues buying pencils in my town. The lead being broken even before it's used. I bought these and they're so smooth! They work better then expected

Let’s be real - if the erasers break or leave pink streaks, I’m putting the pencil in the barn for building marks & not school work. But these erasers on the pencil are good! My first grader writes hard. The lead does not snap. The lead does not crumble and make a mess. And the eraser erases without making pink marks; it also does not smear the lead, nor does it flake off and break. I would buy again for sure.
