Just what I had hoped for...
re: Little Giant King Kombo 8ft I hunted and never found the ACTUAL dimensions (even on the manufacturer's web site ... shame on you folks!). Once unpacked I took a tape measure to it... In its "standard" V configuration the overall (vertical) height is: 7'6". So it WILL work/fit in an 8ft ceiling room. Fully extended (extension ladder style) it is 13'. It's quite light (like any well made, fiberglass ladder you might imagine) and very well built. It arrived in one large, rather abused box. Once unpacked the ladder was fine / no worse for wear. As described by the manufacturer, the pitch lever makes it trivial to use. That said, the lever is located near the top of the ladder (at the hinge point). So, vertically challenged people may find that part of the equation a bit difficult. YMMV. It is "HELLO! I'M GREEN!" Green in color.

Great ladder
Best 8ft ladder I've ever used. The ground cue is cool and all... but does get annoying after a while.

I love this ladder, and I don't like ladders :)
I hate ladders, generally speaking. I'm a bigger guy and traditional telescoping aluminum ladders make me very uncomfortable. This ladder has drasticly changed my perspective and comfort level around them. No matter if it's in the "A" position or in the extended position, it feels so solidly planted and doesn't bow out as I'm navigating it. I would say that this ladder is probably one best kept in a garage or something, at least in this size. It's a bit too big for being an indoor, step ladder for shelf access, etc. This is my new "go to" for outdoor use. I used it to put up christmas decorations and install security cameras.

Great all around ladder
Got this as we moved in to a new home just to have as our standard around the house ladder. Its great and sturdy and not much heavier than those really light silver ladders we usually have around the house. I like that it can turn in to an extension ladder if needed and can lean up in corners. I wish there was a way to disable the safety step, it gets quite annoying when going up and down alot, but I understand its reason.

Just right - stable and multipurpose
Not to heavy to move around. Very easy to use as a long ladder just hit the buttons and swing it into position. Paint and tool pan are handy when it is folded. Also it can be used without extending the back side so it really has 3 positions. I bought this to make piainting the exterior of my house easier and it did exaclty that. The wider base made it more stable than my older ladders so I stayed with this one for the whole project. Safety First Always.

This thing is amazing.
An absolutely amazing ladder. I use several different ladders and stools for work. The bigger they get the heavier and less manageable they are to carry. So selecting the right one is important. This takes my jumbo step and nearly makes it obsolete. I can get higher, into more positions, and it is almost as easy to carry. I got the 4 foot because I needed it to fit inside my Ford Transit. Which it does standing or laying down. It also is easy to carry up and down flights of stairs which I do a lot. I also made this selection because of what other ladders I already own. It fills in the gap. For a general home use application, as your only ladder, I’d go for the six footer. It’s a nearly perfect ladder for the kind of things I need to do.

Not put togather correctly or checked
This is my second LG ladder. This is a great ladder but LG quality control did not check to see if it worked! The square steel bar that locks the positions was out of the channel and the ladder could not be opened. This bar cannot be knocked out of alignment accidentally and was assembled incorrectly and no one checked to see if it worked. I offered to send a photo but as soon as phone help realized I got it from Amazon, they recommended sending it back! Finally I was able to align the bar to the opening on other side and tap it into place with a hammer. Past LG ladders have been champions of quality. Quality control and help is a big disappointment! Edit May 2022 Other than the poor quality control and customer support noted above, after a year of use this is the best utility ladder I've ever used. Will get one for my son.

Great but has a flaw
Great ladder it’s saved me a good amount of time and trips down to the work van, only complaint is the palm buttons are trash that’s the only thing about this ladder it should come with a back up pair straight from manufacture. That design is a flaw big time but other then that it works like a charm
