New Champion slip-joint Pliers
Been using these pliers for a while the fit and finish are just different... These Tsunodas will give your channellocks and craftsman slip joints a run for your money.. They have a high polish which is just different.. They have a good bite and do not let go and feels good in the hand! . i would recommend these to anyone wanting a quality pair of pliers .. I am starting to understand that many Japanese tools have a high level of craftsmanship I wish I would have known earlier.. Grass on to nuts on the side and get a good amount of torque.. I have since purchased 4 more sets of pliers from this manufacture/brand and none of them have disappointed duck bills, diagonal cutters , needle nose and combo pliers

How are these only $12?!
The machining and finishing on these are incredible and absolutely flawless. The teeth in the jaws are precise and sharp, the pivot pin is nicely finished and looks to be very durable as well. Compared to my SK slip joints, these win in every area except for slop but the SK uses a screw so you can adjust the slop as opposed to a rivet pin. One thing to keep in mind is that these have a cutter vs most others that don't, the cutter takes up a good area of the jaws so the pivot point is further down compared to non-cutting ones, this design decreases leverage so these are not a high leverage design due to the cutter. The amount of slop is about average, not great but not the worse I've seen but again, $12. I dont know how they can precisely forge and machine this, give it an amazing finish and sell it at $12. This has to be a budget king tool, you wont find anything else this nice at this price. The only negative is the PVC handles, they're a bit tacky but an argument can be made that it provides better grip so I'll leave that up to preference.

Tsunoda. Top quality Japanese tools.
Best slip-joint pliers I've ever owned. So impressed, I bought more Tsunoda pliers of different types. I've had Klein in the past. These are comparable. Japanese quality.

The most pliers I have ever owned.
The quality of this tool is such a contrast from the usual quality of tools from china it is jarring to the senses. It even puts US made tools from Craftsman, cresent, channel lock, Mac or any of the other higher quality producers (wera, knipex ect) The finish is flawless, the movement is fluid with no spots in the pivot that bind and need to be worn in. It feels solid but not overly heavy or cumbersome. I almost feel like it should be in a display case rather than a tool drawer. I had a long wait for this from the beginning of October until today, but it was well worth the wait.I am really impressed with this tool.

It is well designed and compact. Made in Japan better than China. Price is reasonable too.

Japan made
Nicely made, well put together, and attractive. Similar to my 80's craftsman in quality and chrome plating, but maybe a bit better machined. Slightly slimmer though. Good value, and not made in PRC if that's important to you.

Project Farm steered me correct!
I am thankful for independent and unbiased reviews of products. Without them, online shopping would not be possible. With that said, when looking to replace several sets of pliers, I stumbled upon a video review by Project Farm that showed this set of pliers performing the best. Based on the credibility of Project Farm, I ordered several different sets of Tsunoda pliers and was not disappointed. I am thankful to Project Farm for pointing me in the right direction, and I am thankful to Tsunoda for making a quality product at an affordable price point.
