People don’t know how to break them in properly, at least run them on low bass for 1 week minimum and medium to low volume, not cranked. but my alpine sub blew up recently so I decided to gamble on this low price boss sub and put it in my bass cannon and right out the box it bumped pretty good on low bass, currently running it with a 1100 boss amp. Someone wrote that it doesn’t fit in a precut sub box. Mine also didn’t fit until I started bolting it on evenly on all sides going in a star pattern and not bolting on one side at a time, I also removed the rubber cover that it came with because the bass cannon box I had came with a front cover that I used instead. Will give further updates when break in period is done. Coming back to add to my review after having it for a year. Bumps amazing. Has not blown yet. Highly recommend. Just break it in properly and it will last. I’ve had it for over 2 years now and it bumps amazing. Still going strong, where I live it can get down to -40°c and after warming up the vehicle for 5-10 mins, it bumps really good. Would highly recommend getting as it is lasting me long term.

Ive ordered 12 of these subs over the past year because people keep wanting to buy my system after hearing it. Not one of the 12 subwoofers have blown a voicecoil yet , and believe me when I say that they are constantly being played at high volumes. Here is a little advice for those who are interested in rocking a banging system for an incredible price. I recommend that you buy two or more of these subs depending on how much airspace you have in your vehicle. If you have a single cab truck , 2 of these subs Will beat clear and satisfying. If you have an extended cab truck or small sedan you'll want at least 3 to add cone space to the added airspace. In a SUV , I'd recommend 4 to add to the cone space to the added airspace . With these subs being available around 25 bucks on Amazon , purchasing multiple subs won't really hurt your pocket. I recommend running a Boss Riot 1100 watt amp on each sub your going to use. The amps can be purchased on Amazon for the incredible price of 50 bucks each! Most car and truck batteries can handle to of these amps being hooked up to it , but don't be trying to listen to your system with the vehicle turned off because it will kill your battery and you have to charge it back up. This amp works well with these subs for various reasons , first they are made by the same brand manufacturer which means they are tuned in to complement each others performance , where if you were to use some other brand amp or sub , it just wouldn't sound as good because of one peaking on certain frequencies that the other wasn't manufactured to. Second , the amp is 1100 watts and the sub is 1500 watts , which means that as long as you only turn your amps power to a little over the halfway mark you'll receive top performance without worrying whether your gonna blow something. 4 gauge power and ground wire is also recommended , and please make sure you have good grounds for your amps and have them in separate areas when using multiple amps. Don't run speaker wires or auxiliary cords beside power wires. I prefer to listen to many genders of music and I always install a sealed enclosure instead of posted or bandpass one's. The airspace required for the sub is .8cf .Most aftermarket enclosures are going to be 1cf or larger. So if you go the aftermarket route , I suggest that you liquid nails a peice of 9in×9in 3/4 mff on the inside of the enclosure , then fill 25% of the enclosure with fluffed out polyfiber from any cheap pillow , and mount the subs inverted. I had to reverse the polarity on mine which means you will to. Finally , the subs will take a short break in process where it adjusts to the airspace of your enclosure and loosens up the new voicecoil. So listening at mid level for a couple of hours before you start quaking is probably a good idea. Hope this helps those who are interested in getting these awesome subs.

Makes some good bass for the price. Highly recommend, I definitely wouldn’t put 1500 watts into it but I have 500 hooked up and hit hits pretty hard

Muy buen calidad y potencia, lo encajoné con un porteado prefabricado y suena bien, lo ideal hacerlo a las medidas que recomiendan en el manual de usuario pero se eleva el costo de fabricación
