Best textbook ever
A brilliant overview of the period. The chapter on Cleopatra was particularly well-written and explained. The only downside of this book would be its price and the book felt cheap.

Fantastic - what a gcse text this is
A great tome. Really is the definite work on GCSE ancient history. I Don’t know how I could have done the exam without this. Hand delivered on time.

Arrived on time as stated. A useful tool for students.

Dull and uninspiring
Totally inappropriate for most GCSE classes. Turgid language, very dull with no colour or exciting activities.Would be good if you are an undergraduate or have a class of all 9s, for any 'normal' class it does not work and we spend most of the time just unpacking what the authors actually mean before even looking at the actual content!
