These 2 books and CD cover a lot of grammar and vocabulary at a decent pace, helping you to grasp the 4 crucial areas of reading, writing, listening and speaking.The books are written completely in Turkish so it is handy to have a dictionary or teacher/tutor on hand who can explain in your mother tongue.

This book covers many of the essential structures of the Turkish language split into units of study at this level. Like the other books in the series it has a full range of realistic, contemporary and varied examples to explain and develop grammar points, written and listening comprehension exercises including pictures and diagrams to consolidate learning points and useful vocabulary lists at an appropriate level for learners at this stage.I and a friend have successfully used this book/CD over several years as an initial learning resource and as a revision guide both in classes at a College in Antalya and with a teacher here in the UK. The book seems to us to be designed best for use with a native speaker as a teacher as all the introductions and instructions are in Turkish. The book is well recommended by us for structured learning sessions.
