This dimmer smith is quite good quality plastic and comes in brilliant white.The instruction manual guides you to fitting the switch yourself but as most do, it recommends an approved electrician or someone with electrical knowledge to oversee the installation.The kit comes with short screws and my only 'gripe' would be that you may need deeper screws depending on the backing box.The light comes with press in covers for the screws, which is a nice cosmetic touch.The switch has a 'memory' ( which I have never encountered before), which allows you to set the level of the lowest light setting, so as the light quality can be appropriate!If you follow the instruction leaflet, it is just 8 simple click s ( on /off) to set the process.When switched on, the light comes on immediately.The dial knob is solid and well attached to the body of the switch.The light switch does not 'hum' like some I have at home.There is no earth cable required in wiring as the product is all plastic.More than happy to recommend this product for cost, easy installation and operation.

Very reasonable price, good quality and works well. Direct replacement for a dual dimmer that failed. Easy to install and no irritating 'buzz' that some dimmers still do, even after all these years. And somehow, the lights that it controls seem brighter on full power than the old one. On my kitchen lights, turn it down far enough and they will all go off using the dimmer not the switch. And if you judge it right, you can get just one of the eight to come on before they all kick in. Very happy with it!

Stylish and quiet dimmer.Would have given it 5 stars but have had 2 in the past that didn't last for more than one year. However, it is so quiet and does such nice job that I have stuck with this brand of LED dimmer. I really like the fact that it is quiet and does not buzz.

The aesthetics of this product are great. The knobs feel solid and the screw hole covers a good idea. The setup instructions are also very good.However, one of the dimmer switches has failed after less than one day.Not impressed and will not be upgrading my other sets of dimmer switches to this product.19 March: received an email from seller asking to be able to rectify the situation. I’ve already purchased another switch so won’t be taking up the offer, however top marks for customer service.If I was able to rate service separate that would be 5 stars.

This was purchased to replace a dimmer from a different vendor. We needed LED leading edge compatiblity for the for the room. This switch is excellent quality, the instructions are very clear and simple. The ability to adjust the range is brillant and really simple to do. Worked perfectly , first time. Good range of dimming and zero flicker at any point on the brightness scale.Will certainly order more of these as needed as its easier to replace the whole switch than the actual dimmer module inside the switches which is what I had been doing.

Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory. Initially, the switches seemed to work well, offering smooth dimming capabilities for my LED lights. However, over time, the quality issues became evident.Firstly, the build quality of the dimmer switches feels rather flimsy. The knobs and buttons have a cheap, plastic feel, and after a few months of use, two of the switches developed a noticeable wobble. This made adjusting the light levels increasingly frustrating as the knobs no longer turned smoothly.More concerning, however, is the reliability of these dimmer switches. After just one year of use, all three of the switches have completely stopped working. They fail to dim the lights or even turn them on and off properly. This is extremely disappointing, especially considering that I expected these switches to last much longer, given their relatively high price point compared to other options on the market.Despite their initially decent performance, the switches' flimsy construction and lack of durability make them a poor investment. I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for a dependable dimmer switch for their home lighting needs. Save yourself the hassle.

Honestly can never be bothered writing reviews but I took this out the box and isolated the switches. Had the old one off in 1 minute and wires out in another 2 and had the new one on in less than 2-3minutes.Super easy and the app is fantastic. Honestly think it’s great. Price was good value for what it does. Will be buying another immediately.
