Viper TACTICAL Venom Performance Boots

Early days yet, but so far, comfortable, good looking and decent quality for its price.

Firstly, these boots do look awesome. They're a solid build with what seems like quality materials throughout. I'm a size 9 uk and ordered to the correct size, they fit comfortably with no squished toes... On the day they arrived i tried them on and they felt really good. I took a short 15 minute walk and everything was ok. However, the next day i took a 2 hour walk wearing light cotton socks, and these boots tore my feet to pieces. Blisters on my toes and heels. For a week or so as i let my feet heal up, i was unsure about these boots, i thought that maybe i had wasted £80... However, i'm stubborn, and i wanted to stick with them and try to break them in. I started wearing thick cordura socks, and these made a huge difference. No more hotspots or blisters, plus the cordura socks add a little extra waterproofing. It took a couple of weeks before i felt sure they were broken in good and proper... I give these boots five stars, because even though i suffered at the beginning, once they're properly broken in, they are excellent. Strong, stable and sturdy. I haven't tried them up the mountains yet, but i feel confident they'll hold up really well... My top advice, wear thick socks from the start, and give yourself a bit of time to break them in.

There are cheaper boots on the market. But I doubt many have what these have. Very light weight. My feet felt like they were floating. Comfortable. Stylish. Great design. Appear to be well made. Although I'm no cobbler. So what do I know. Plus my planter facitus doesn't feel as bad. Which is what I brought them for in the first place.

Right out of the box I could tell these were well made, they have a very sturdy build and hard waring materials. They feel very comfortable and also look very nice. I’m a very happy customer. I suffer from plantar fasciitis and struggle to get good quality footwear all the time, so I’m very pleased to get these and find I’m getting what I want and pay for

These just didn’t work for me at all. They looked great in the picture. But they are more toys that tough boots. Great for kids to play in, or in an urban landscape, but in the back end of a forest, no. Just simply, no! The ankle support is just hard not supple on the inside, like a meindl boot, so not accommodating, not holding. The sole is so thick and hollow, there’s no way you could ‘fox walk’ in these. They are cheap, it’s true, but not an investment. I returned mine.

As an avid boot wearer I cannot praise these highly enough, they have become my primary footwear both on and off the airsoft field. I use them for work which primarily consists of long drives where comfort is paramount. I use them for airsoft where their performance at keeping the elements out are second-to-none and, once again, comfort is super important for long games. And I use them to travel, I'm writing this review on holiday in Greece where I do a lot of walking and, aside from the unavoidable heat, these boots shine. The extra money you spend on these boots is easily worth the exceptional value you get. 10/10, everyone should get a pair.

Great boots for spending hours in and when walking over different surfaces

My work boot for 2 years used for 12 hour shifts. Extremely comfy & good fit, also very light. Soles have faded away so am looking to now replace. Sadly not polishable so am not the owner of the smartest boots in my team. Definitely would recommend (unless you are in the Guards Division)
