Please follow the following instructions for proper storage and usage of the product: 1) STORAGE: Keep the sodium hypochlorite container in a cool and dark place, because light and heat can decompose sodium hypochlorite, reducing its potency. 2) If the sodium hypochlorite container is kept in a cool and dark place, the sodium hypochlorite will be in a stable state, so it will NOT decompose and give out its chlorine gas, which means you will not get a strong pungent smell when you open the container - THIS IS A GOOD THING, MAINTAINS HIGH POTENCY OF THE CHEMICAL. 3) USAGE: Concentration of the sodium hypochlorite in the container is 5%. So if you want to make a 1% concentration solution for your personal use - then mix 1 part of the sodium hypochlorite with 4 parts of water - For example, if you want to make 1 litre of 1% solution, then take 200 ml of sodium hypochlorite from the container and mix it with 800 ml of water. So the mixture ratio is - 1:4 If you want to make a 2% concentration solution for your personal use - then mix 2 parts of the sodium hypochlorite with 3 parts of water - For example, if you want to make 1 litre of 2% solution, then take 400 ml of sodium hypochlorite from the container and mix it with 600 ml of water.
