JDM ASTAR Extremely Bright 3030 Chipsets White/Yellow 3157 3155 3457 4157 Switchback LED Bulbs with Projector For Turn Signal Lights

I bought these to replace my factory halogen amber turn signal/parking light bulbs on my Monte Carlo. I can vouch for JDM ASTAR products when it comes to quality, price, and performance of their LED bulb lineup. They just keep getting better and better! I have replaced just about every bulb on my Monte Carlo, both interior and exterior (even my low-beam headlights) with this brand and I have never been disappointed.At first I didn't think I would like the flashbacks, and I would return them for the all amber bulbs. Once I installed them, and seen how good they looked, they were keepers. I have the JDM ASTAR 7th gen headlight bulbs for low beams, and even though they are super bright, my headlight assemblies don't provide a wide beam pattern like the newer cars do. These bulbs aid that issue very well and works with the headlights to make a much wider beam. Also if I'm parked somewhere, these light up the area in front of my car fairly well to where I can see everything without the use of turning on the headlights. My car already uses the high beams at half power as daytime driving lights, so I don't use these bulbs for that purpose, but would work for those who don't have that feature. I absolutely love the amber part of these bulbs. I've always liked how LED lights are much more responsive over halogens as turn signals. It just looks better too. It's a pure amber color that goes on-off-on-off instantaneously. Halogens have more delay turning on which means the other drivers have less time to respond depending on how you use your turn signals. There is no delay with LEDs, turning on instantly at the same time you engage your blinker. These are the best flashback LED bulbs available by this brand, providing better reaction time, visibility and safety for you and your surrounding drivers.It would be silly to not buy these.

These bulbs worked great in our 2012 Chevy Traverse. Very bright and the white to yellow switchback work great. The white projector beam does add a little more up close and personal night time driving visibility and they look so much better than stock.The bulbs are polarity sensitive so test prior to installing in the housing, but no big deal just turn them around and lights will work. If hyper flash bothers you, you will need a set of resistors to slow the flash rate down. Personally I left ours stock without resistors as the flash rate is not so fast that it's still noticeable by other drivers without resistors installed, but this is just my opinion.Installed for over a month now and no issues. Can not beat the price vs. purchasing at a local retail store. JDM brand bulbs have lasted us a long time in prior uses so we continue to use them.

I have a 2009 Toyota Corolla and these replaced the factory turn signal/parking light in the front of the car. The parking lights are a nice crisp white at night. I would even dare to to say they light up the sides of the road quite well. And the amber turn signal light up the area pretty well!!! I paired them with the JDM ASTAR super white led bulbs for the rear of the corolla as well. Since I had 4 led bulbs in both the front and rear, I bought 4 of the 50 Ohmm resistors and wired them in parallel in the rear of the car. I'm sure had I remember physics I could have gotten just two 25 ohmn resistors or something.I bought theses in December of 2016 and installed them right away when they got here. Here I am writing a review for them in June 2017. The switch back led in the front and the whites in the rear have held up pretty well. Unfortunately the front right one now seems to work sometimes. The problem started almost 2 weeks ago. The white led would not turn on but the amber would work fine. I stuck the oem bulb back in and it worked fine. I put the led back in and it would have the same problem. I even swapped the leds to different sides and it had the same problem. JDM ASTAR please help!!! I love the switch backs but my headlights look wonky at night now.Edit July 11 2017I contacted Jdm Astar and I received a prompt reply from the warranty department. I sent in the old one and received a new one within 1 and a half weeks. They very professional!

These switchbacks are amazing. The light output from the white mode is so good and bright, they are almost bad. Since there is no cutoff of the beam like with low beam headlights, I've been flashed a few times from people who think my high beams are on. I've stood in front of my car (Ford Fiesta) to see how bright they are. I admit, they are a bit blinding. However, they compliment both my low and high beams beautifully visibility-wise since I live in rural Montana. They will function well as a substitute for separate fog lights or daylight runners if your car doesn't come with them from the factory.I knew this before I bought them, but the only downside is they don't come with resistors to bring the blinking speed down to normal. (I still need those resistors at some point.)All in all, I'm very impressed by the look and light output of these. The amber mode that comes on whenever a blinker is used looks amazing along with the fade in transition back to white after the turn signal is turned off.
