Great induction single stove
I won't mention value for money as the price varies massively! I suggest you watch the product for a bit.Massive adjustability of power levels , better than a lot of home built in cookers.Fast response (almost as good as gas)Better than halogen (safer, faster, more energy efficient)Will take a very large stock pan , pasta pan, fry pan.The only down size is the size of the unit , its Big . Check the measurements and put it on a piece of paper so you fully realise the size. That brings to the box and packing it was sent it.I was surprised the unit arrived undamaged as when I opened the squashed box there was enormous room to of put almost three in the box but only one very small bit of paper to hold it in place . TERRIBLY PACKING AMAZON . especially as I've received soft items that can't get damaged with the air filed packing and paper to stop them from moving .Its now July 2024 and two plus years so I thought I'd update. The hob isn't used everyday but regularly, it's performed perfectly (via a 3000w inverter used only in a motorhome)100% worth buying. And have also suggested others looking for this type of product in a motorhome to buy - which they have and all are very much glad they purchased.

5°C steps temperature steps love it
Like it ! Temperature is adjustable in 5°C steps ! Very very close to the good cooking experience in the can!

Wonderful when you get to know it
Instant heat, easy to control but like all things in cooking, you have to get to know its character!Clever instant buttons for boil and warm but beware they sometimes seem to revert when you have changed the setting when the water/dish has boiled and you want to just simmer. Don't know why!BUT EXCELLENT overall - light and easy to put away on its side.ADVICE: start on the default 5 setting and just use the power numbers to go up and down, 10 for hottest, 1 for lowest simmer, to discover which setting is best for your dish. The response is instant so you get quick feedback. My pressure cooker has worked better than ever before on low simmer! Temperature control is fine too but it is slow to settle and you may got too hot or too cold for a while until it settles to the temp you want.I would not change it and after reading all the reviews of problems with other hobs, eg full on/off simmer, NONE of those apply to this excellent design, I am relieved and pleased to discover!

Great to use, not great lifespan
Bought two August 2022 and worked very well however both stopped working almost within two weeks of each other. In fact they didn't just stop working they blew the plug fuse and tripped a switch on the fuse board. I still bought two more as they replace the electric AGA tops and have saved a huge amount in electricity bills .

Had it for a year now. Update - the good and the bad
Over a year on - this hob has lasted with quite a lot of use, and still cleans so easily, with just a wipe with a damp cloth after each use. It's light enough to pick up and put away in a cupboard between uses. It heats very quickly to a high temperature and goes low enough to just keep warm too. Now for the downside. I often use a frying/saute pan with a 22cm base. This does NOT work well. The outer ring marked on this hob might give you the impression it will heat to that size pan. It doesn't. It heats around 5 inches in the centre. The food in the outside areas of the pan will not cook like the centre, and thus you find the centre of expensive induction pans are all burning and have a dark circle in the middle where they have been damaged with a high temperature but the outside is still like factory finish because the pan simply hasn't heated outside that small ring it shows. Yes, you can put bigger pans on but nothing will cook! Looking at other makes, it seems this is common with induction hobs made for the home cook. They have a coil in that only is as big as that middle circle. They all say how a bigger pan can be used, but food won't cook unless you keep drawing it to the middle which you can with something like a stir fry, but not pancakes or something that needs leaving flat until it's cooked. Even 6 fried eggs will cook in the middle of the pan but the outside few inches won't. If you want something that is going to heat a larger base, it seems you need to go for the commercial pans. The second issue with this, and I've had two of these now and they're both the same, is that you leave something simmering at a certain level and the timer on for say 10 minutes. Half way through the level of heat changes and it goes on to full! Not good.

It’s fast and easy to control. I’m very pleased with it.
Why did you choose this product over others?:I done a lot of research for an induction hob and this was a good write up and affordable.

GLAD I BOUGHT THIS
With the correct cookware, this lovely hob gives instant response and is so easy to clean and keep clean. The main 'big gas cooker' in our static caravan is totally broken and unusable so we have a counter-top electric mini oven and now this induction hob - ideal in our small kitchen area. The display figures are a good size and easy to read on the angled front surface. The complete product is very well made and nicely finished without sharp edges - a quality product. It was well packed so no damage and came complete with a nicely printed colour instruction book (not a grey print unreadable photocopy!)

At last - an induction hob that meets the needs of cooks!
The media could not be loaded. This is the fifth portable induction cooker that I have bought - and it's the only one that I have found that offers proper power control. They are all good at high power - at boiling water rapidly. But most cooking is done at a more gentle heat - especially if you are making soups or curries. My high-end built-in induction hob offers full control, but many portable cookers will only go down to 500 watts at the least - and often this is achieved by cycling full power on and off at intervals, so instead of a steady simmer you get an intermittent boil. This cooker has 20 power levels, and will go down to 100 watts. Just what I want!Oh, and it's smaller than stated in the text. The correct measurements are given in one of the photos.A great cooker that has earned its permanent place on my kitchen counter!
