Great deal on a high-quality SUP!
Very happy with this SUP! I bought it as a gift my wife for her birthday. She never asks for anything, and so when she asked me for a stand-up paddleboard I knew that I needed to get her a really nice one! After much research, this one stood out to me as a good deal for a high quality board with all the accessories that she needed to start out. She is a complete beginner, but she was able to start paddling on the lake that we live on immediately (after watching a few YouTube videos), and she hasn't fallen off even once! It is easy for her to carry, which has helped in her motivation to take it out almost every morning before work since she has had it - she just absolutely loves it! Also, this board is rated to be good, both on flat water and in surf, which is perfect because at our new house on Puget Sound, she will be using it in rougher waters.

Decent board, terrible handle
This review is based on a Misstyk I got from Craigslist. The board I bought from Amazon arrived damaged and I had to return it. Overall it's a great beginner bored. My only complaint is the handle is atrocious. It is absolutely impossible to grip. It is not deep enough for your fingers to fit in so you will need straps or some other mechanism to carry it. Especially when the board is wet and slippery after use.

this is a complete set!
This is a complete set and comes with a carrying case, paddle, removable fin, ankle collar. It's nice that everything is included. Now just need to get a car carrier to transport. The colorway is so so but at least it's not pink!

Great board, and excellent customer service.
UPDATE: Jimmy Styks reached out to me and replaced the board bag, free of charge. I am very happy with their customer service and the quality of the board as well.I am giving four stars due to an issue with the board bag, not the actual board itself.I am happy with the paddleboard but was very disappointed to open the box and find the board bag covered in dark spots of mold. There was a strong smell of mold when opening the box also.Board came in good condition with no spots, dings, etc. and all other accessories were packaged nicely. Board is lightweight and easy to carry but does feel a bit fragile.

Great All-Around Board For Ladies, Kids, or Light Paddlers
We got this board for mom and our kids, and love it. First off, the board looks great, with a pretty aqua, white, and gray color scheme that's very attractive. It arrived well-packaged and in good condition. The board is sturdy but lightweight enough (26 pounds) that one adult can carry it easily. The cutout handle is molded in a way that is easy to grip too. I would note that the construction of the board makes it sturdy but somewhat delicate. That's not a criticism but something to note. The fiberglass/epoxy shell is totally capable of standing up to the 190 pound weight rating, and it provides light weight and a smooth ride on the water. It would, however, be fairly easy to mar or damage the surface on rocks, gravel, etc. Plan to treat it with care and use it in the right environments and it should be just fine. And about that weight limit - I weigh 215 and got on the board, and it supported me fine though my weight cause the board to sink into the water too far to ride it. The 190 pound rating should be trusted. The soft deck pad is very comfortable and grippy. The board provides nice stability, though new riders will still likely need some time to find their balance as with just about any board. My 80lb daughter has never paddled and was able to stay up right out of the gate. My 130lb son - also a total newbie - found his balance within about 15-20 minutes. Mom hasn't been out on it yet, but she's not too much heavier than our son. The taller and heavier the rider, of course, the more time it will likely take to acquire balance. This one hits a nice balance of stability, maneuverability, and tracking. It's a great choice for an all-purpose board. The included carbon paddle is light and seems well made. It's also easy to adjust the height, and it's buoyant, making retrieval easier for an overboard paddler. Other accessories include a carry bag, one large fin and two smaller fins and hardware, a vent cap, and a leash strap. The bag is helpful when transporting the board because it is slightly padded and helps protect the board.Overall, we love this board. Pros: great looks, light weight and easy portability, sturdy construction, very nice carbon paddle, included carry bag, and good blend of stability, maneuverability, and tracking. Cons: light weight offset by more delicate finish. The many pros definitely outweigh the few cons for us.
