It looks like good quality and for the price that I bought it for it is a good deal, it works with my Surface Pro 9 to output the screen and also works with my S23 Ultra for Samsung dex

When readjusting monitor position the hdmi is prone to disconnecting easily but works fine other than that

I use this cable to connect a Samsung Galaxy S9 to a 27-inch Dell monitor to stream Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+ movies, and it works perfectly. These Apps will NOT work if you are in Samsung DEX mode – You need to be on ‘Screen mirroring’. That’s the easiest way to watch everything in big full mode.The build quality is premium – a robust well-made cable that does not feel like it will fall apart anytime soon with weighty connectors, and a protection cap for the HDMI end. Not bulky at all and fits all sockets snuggly. Immediately recognised. The picture quality is flawless, no fuzziness/glitches and the sound clarity perfect. I didn’t experience any lag either. It activates the DEX software on the S9 so can use the monitor as a giant PC.Also works flawlessly with connecting a Microsoft Surface Pro 7 to the Dell monitor to use as a second screen. IMPORTANT: This cable does not just duplicate the screen; it EXTENDS it as well.One of the prime benefits of using a proper USB-C to HDMI cable (like this one) as opposed to an adaptor setup is that the monitor would not black out randomly and there would be less clutter. Bought this cable 6 months ago and it has recently caused my screen to flicker intermittently - I have tested against another cable which does not flicker. These cables are meant to last longer than 6 months!

My mobile (Huawei P20 Pro) has a really useful feature called desktop mode that lets me use the mobile phone as a computer when connected to an HDMI source. This cable is ideal for allowing that as it connects to the USB-C port at the bottom to an HDMI display. The display is crisp and clear with no loss of definition at all.More normal use would be connecting a laptop to a screen, and given many laptops now either have no or just a single HDMI and especially in a business environment, twin screens are becoming the norm and having a cable to connect from USB-C to HDMI is perfect. I have used it daily for a while now connecting a Lenovo ThinkPad to one screen whilst the second screen is connected to the built-in HDMI port. I am unable to tell the difference in the display between both connections and there is no discernible lag in either screen connection.I have previously used other adapters to do this, but they tend to cost around twice the price. This makes the cable a bit of a bargain.Build quality of the cable is excellent with no movement between the cable and the plugs on either end, which are metallic and well put together.The only problem I have with the cable is that the length at 90cm is a little too short. I would go with the longer 1.8m length to give a little more flexibility on laptop/mobile position next time.

Being suited to Macbooks, Mac Minis and so forth, this cable's short and light - ideal for minimising clutter when connecting USB-C/Thunderbolt devices to monitors and TVs. However, the length does make it less useful for laptops to screens.For testing purposes, I have a Dell with Thunderbolt 3/USB-C, and a Huawei P9 - an older Android phone and one of the first USB-C devices. The cable worked perfectly with the Dell for connection to monitor and 4K TV; it doesn't appear to support the MHL standard needed for smartphones of this age. With the Dell it handled 4K streaming with the laptops own display active without any glitches or problems (albeit not very comfortably as this is the short cable), and is 100% stable and reliable when connected to the lower-resolution Dell P219H monitor as a second display or primary display.The aluminium casing on the connections feels cool to touch and reasonably premium, and the labels are clear and easy to read. Also bonus points for the packaging, which is simple cardboard with a reusable resealable bag. It's compact, not wasteful and it's easy to store the cable in if you only need it occasionally.As this is an AmazonBasics product, the pricing seems high compared to others on the market, but that's the only reason it loses a star; if the price falls to below the levels of similar products, it's a five-star item and one you know will usually be available with one-day availability for those last-minute needs.

I looked through at least 20 different products because I wanted to make sure this was compatible with my computer, and it did work perfectly. I have a Surface Laptop 3 and an old HDMI monitor. I am able to expand the screen and have two working screens which is absolutely perfect. I am thankful for this product and it’s very nice price, compared to what I should have paid if I were to buy the official docking station (which I was right about to buy after doing my research).

I bought this to use with my alpine radio but was disappointed when it didn't work. It wasn't the cord I found out my current one plus 10t does not support HDMI over usb c. The cord works perfectly fine with acouple of my other devices

This did exactly what I hoped for, plugged my iPhone 15 into my tv and was able to cast everything I needed with visual and audio. Zero complaints.
