Used on 3in 94 k1500 exhaust, worked great. 350sbc
Worked great for my application however, it cracks on moving joints. Still sealed my exhaust very nicely.

Very effective
After I used a wee wheel to clean away any rust from the exhaust leak , I applied this cement and smoothed it with my finger. It held nicely after several hours and works well. Hope it holds up for a while.

Works great if you follow instructions
JB Weld makes a good product. Follow prep instructions and you’ll have a solid seal that lasts if you don’t prep it won’t stick as well and can flake off. Let it cure before driving or running the engine.

Good fix for a leaky pipe to muffler
Was able to seal a good opening with this product. It was not a $100 muffler repair but still it is doing the job. Would recommend.

It disintegrated like mud clay! Waste of time and $.
I applied this JB Weld muffler seal to a cracked exhaust pipe at the flange connecting to the engine of my lawn tractor. It worked for 5 minutes or so, then back to the loud exhaust leak. Further inspection revealed that this seal cannot stand the heat and vibration. It disintegrated like mud clay without any holding power. Back to plan A, to weld the crack.

Good when it works. But use a wrap with it
I bought this twice. The first time it was great. But I did not know how to use. You should apply as thick as you can. This does seal the leak. However the stuff becomes brittle and I recommend wrapping it with some exhaust wrap tape after curing or before. Let it dry completely before use.Second time, it came very dry already and was hard to get out the tube. Did not flow easy and was like clay instead of the earlier one, more like toothpaste.
