We are happy with these fire glass rocks in Cobalt Blue color. We used them with white rocks for landscaping and it came out really nice. We have spots shining in the area so during the day sunlight hits the stones and at night a spot light. I realize they are for firepits but I was being creative with there use.

Pretty expensive for rocks. Barely made a single layer in my portable fire pit. Seems like it's the going rate though. Otherwise, they're nice looking. I like the rounded shape.

The color is a beautiful sea blue. Looks great!

The media could not be loaded. Purchased the 2-3 inch 20lb bag and it came with about 54 stones varying in size and mostly a charcoal to light grey appearance. Each were about the size of a small potato and was very happy on how they came together. This was enough the fill the space and not be overcrowded. I did have about 4 stones that were charred upon first use so I moved those on the outer edge away from the flames. I also didn’t apply any rocks over the fire channel to avoid any pieces getting too hot and exploding/charring like a few have mentioned. May edit review should we hear any cracking or experience any exploding rocks.

Not sure how you can advertise these as black lava rock. There is nothing black about them. If they got wet they might be dark grey, and that is generous.

The media could not be loaded. I liked the idea of lava rocks better than glass, which worked out great. I love this size since it is big enough for some presence but small enough to form around and hide the fire ring easily. It also diffuses the flame for a more natural and pleasing look.

Our propane fire pit is used mostly for camping during burn bans. These improve the heat radiation considerable as most of the heat goes straight up with the original lava type rocks. The weight increase is dramatic.

Liked the look but not enough for small firebowl, had to place cheaper lava rock beneath them.

The contents I received were not lava rock, they were regular tumbled rocks which are quite heavy and were not what I was expecting for the fire pit I intended to use them in. They look nice and would be well suited for decorative use, but are heavy and expect a small quantity for the 20lb quantity.
