Great product! Truly a no spill pet water bowl.

I had one of these bowls several years ago, It disappeared. Glad I found this one. It is great for the car. Deffinately spill proof. The easiest way to remove the lid for cleaning, is to turn it upside down and push down on the tap. Lid will pop right off. Do it over the sink.

We had a newfoundland puppy and as cute as he was, he constantly drove us crazy by knocking water out of his bowl and turning our house into a swimming pool. This bowl was the ONLY bowl that stopped it (and trust me, we tried EVERYTHING). He occasionally dipped a paw in to get it wet, but he couldn't keep up his splashing and that made a huge difference.The lid is very hard to remove (which is partly what makes it puppy-proof) but we found filling it without removing the lid worked fine. It was hard to clean but whenever we had a stronger guest over they were able to help us get the lid off. Overall the bowl taught out puppy not to play in his water, and he's now able to use a larger refilling bowl (thank god, newfies drink a LOT of water). We still use this bowl in the bedrooms though in case he gets any ideas.We bought several of these and one did break, but only because our 110 lbs. puppy chewed it up. It took him a while even at that, but if your dog is likely to be unsupervised with the bowl and is enormous like mine, this may not work for you. We couldn't leave it in the crate with him because he ended up eating too much plastic.Overall I LOVE this bowl and I'm so grateful we finally found it.

We had this bowl lasted about a little over 2 years with 3 dogs. The lid stared to crack and now leaks all over the floor. It was a good product but not built to last

I had purchased 2 of these last year after they had been out of stock for months. We own the Original Buddy Bowl that is used during field hunts and such. We decided on a smaller and a larger bowl, for inside the vehicle and inside the kennel. For some reason, these do not seal nearly as well as the original ones we've purchased and used for years. The material seems to be thinner and the lids do not snap and seal like before.We really like the convenience of the bowls, but I guess these will stay around the house and we'll continue using the old ones. They have leaked since first use, and the lids will not stay secure.

I was skeptical but this thing is absolutely amazing. Some really smart engineer must have come up with it. Our 8mo old kept going after the dog water bowl, spilled it, tried to faceplant in it. We found this recommended after a google search and decided to try it. Holy cow, it’s a game changer. It’s literally impossible to spill any water. Plus his face is too big to get down into it so he can’t drown In the dog bowl (which is apparently a thing, yikes). Also I believe it’s been redesigned and is very easy to get the top off to refill or clean - I think the reviews having problems with this was an older model. This is really a must have for anyone with a dog baby combo for safety and prevention of spills

Debating on spending "that much money" on a water bowl? I was too. I finally bit the bullet and ordered it. 90 % of the drips have been taken care of. The bowl is saving me thousands that I would have had to spend on hardwood floor refinishing. Perhaps saving a broken hip caused from slipping on huge amounts of tracked water. I am a stay at home mom and if I am not home my 76 lbs, 9 month old European Doberman Pincher goes in her crate. She therefore is not unsupervised with the bowl. She has not attempted to move it or chew it up. Like many other reviews I found the lid hard to get off. As a solution I pull up on the tab and use a butter knife to slide under the lip like you might do with a paint can. Then the lid comes the rest of the way off easily. The bowl is easy to wash (by hand) and easy to fill and put back together. Any difficulty with taking the lid off is over shadowed by the elimination of so much dripped water.

The bowl definitely works to slow down my dogs drinking. They seem to drink more water since it stays cleaner as well. However my big dog still splashes water out of the bowl when he drinks! I don’t know how since it is a great fit for his long nose-Doberman-but it still splashes all over the floor. Both of my dogs figured out how to drink out of right away. I have looked closely when the big one drinks and the water seems to just come out the sides of his mouth and his tongue just seems to throw water sideways to his mouth anyway. There is only about an inch of space around his nose to the bowl. Ugh!! The water gets on the bowl and up to 5-8 inches around it. If only he would use a straw?
