Update: I bought this originally because I needed tummy control after 2 pregnancies. I definitely recommend sizing up. The small was so tight it made me sick one night and I had to take it off. The medium fit perfectly. I was a size 6 in jeans typically. It does roll up too high like most things but I'm able to keep it just below my bra, or tuck my bra over it.As of 2022 I had a tummy tuck and I'm still wearing the one I bought in 2016 for after-surgery care. I was originally wearing a medical binder but after a month I got to switch to the Spanx. I've been wearing and washing it daily and it's held up great. It's been nice during the summer so although it is a second layer under a dress or shirt/jeans, it's easily the lightest version you're going to find. I'm a solid size 4 now and the medium is still the best. This has been a great purchase!

The SPANX Sculpt Seamless Power High-Waisted Brief has quickly become one of my everyday essentials. It offers just the right amount of shaping without feeling restrictive, and the lightweight fabric makes it comfortable enough to wear all day.I love how smooth it looks under clothes—no awkward lines or bunching. The waistband stays in place without rolling down, which is a huge plus for high-waisted shapewear. It gives a flattering silhouette while still letting me move and breathe easily. Perfect for workwear, special occasions, or just when I want a little extra support.

These spanks "Sculpt" - which means they are lighter material and don't shape as much as the regular spanks 'power' shorts. They are definitely more comfortable and obviously smooth out your bulges from hips to the rib cage. But they are not really going to hold anything in. The only issue I had was the top band and rubberize strip were very narrow and have a tendency to roll down (which may be seen under a tight blouse/top). Would be nice if this band was wider.

I've had this panty/spanx for well over 6 months now. So let's get down to it.It's well, breathable. Don't expect to be able to twerk in them but they are not restrictive.Washes well, retains elasticity, works well with other clothing.However,- tends to roll down at the top after constant use and during a long days wear.- does not play well when you go out to try on clothing- does not like to be adjusted often- will dig into thigh cuts over time- makes the transition between thigh and stomach look questionable.Overall point. Don't wear under form fitting or body con clothing. Not great for all day wear or more than 8 hrs. Breathable, won't make you hot. Does not do will with heavy activity (i.e. dancing).

I bought this product because of the Spanx brand name expecting so much more quality than my other shape wear. First of all...I am 4'11 103 lbs with a waist measurement of 24 " so I ordered a S which indicates they should fit waist measurements 27.5-30. WRONG! They are sooooo tight that I could not breathe. They hurt & rolled down at the top. I bought these for post surgical compression after a tummy tuck & paid $10 MORE for them than I did my 5 other pair of a different brand. The other brand I were great, fit better, better quality & had a built in piece that kept them from rolling down. Sorry, but I don't think I can mention their brand name on here. I wore the Spanx so I can't return them, but I'm done with any Spanx products for this reason. :-(

Perfect for everyday wear or special occasions.

Very comfortable and easy to put on. Don't go by the recommended size, though! My "recommended" size was 2X! :-O But according to the size chart, I should wear a Large. So that's what size I ordered, and it fits perfectly.

I was replacing my old spanx with this one but have to return it. The fit was fine but the top refused to not roll down! This never happens with my old spanx! Fabric has changed also-usual to be smoother under clothing. But the rolling is a deal breaker.
