A good green tea
Ridgways green tea is not as acid as others while it still has a smooth flavor. Ordered the 6 pack because I've lost my local source. This will keep me in tea for a while.

Excellent green tea in a bag.
We were shopping at Ocean State Job Lot in Harwichport on Cape Cod when I saw the box of Ridgways of London Pure Green and decided to give it a try. I am glad I did.The box of tea contains twenty green tea bags with each bag enclosed in a tightly sealed envelope to preserve freshness. The box tells me this tea is good until September, 2016. No problems there, I have already used up all the tea bags and now need to order some more. The box tells us that this is a light and deliciously fresh tasting tea and I attest to the correctness of this description. Certainly it is not as strong and pronounced as the more flavorful loose green teas that I have purchased on Amazon. But Ridgways is convenient; that is, it comes in a flavor sealed bag that you pop in a cup and two or three minutes later you have a refreshing cup of green tea.By the way, Ridgways says it is a fairtrade product, meaning that Ridgways supports the farmers that grow the tea and also promotes fair wages and working conditions. My recipe for a great cup of green tea is this: brew the tea for between two and three minutes, add one teaspoon of acacia honey, pour in the juice of half of a fresh squeezed lemon or lime, and top off with some ginger shaken from a jar. This is a truly tasty and healthy beverage. If you want, you can throw into the cup some craisins and dried tart cherries and then spoon them out and eat them while sipping the tea. Heaven.I'm the first reviewer of this tea on Amazon. If anyone reads this posting, please let me know if you give my recipe a try and tell me what you think. Thanks. Russell
