Verilux HappyLight Lumi Plus - Light Therapy Lamp with 10,000 Lux, UV-Free, LED Bright White Light with Adjustable Brightness, Countdown Timer, & Detachable Stand - Boost Mood, Sleep, and Focus

I absolutely love my Happy Light. In the morning I work on my side business where I sit with the happy light about 12-16 inches from me without any other lights on for about an hour. The first time I turned it on I was like, wow this is super bright; however now it doesn't phase me at all. I love that it comes with a stand as well as can hand from the wall. Get value for the money. During these winter month it does seem to help kick start my day with the Happy Light. I have no eye discomfort from using it. Looks great and functions for its purchase. I have recommended the Happy Light to my family and coworkers! Definitely worth it to use first thing in the morning.

The Happy Light works well for me because of its size, touch control and levels of brightness. It’s easy to adjust the brightness (lower right button of concentric half-circles) but I was advised by my doctor to use the brightest setting of 10,000 Lux for maximum benefit for my needs. The highest setting is very bright (!) but it is easy to position the light a little farther away and still get the benefits. The timer function (lower left corner button that looks like a clock) takes a few tries to get right but the instructions in the User’s Guide are helpful. The plug measures 2.25”L x 1.5”W x 1.25” Thick not including the power prongs (see picture). Not terribly bulky but you’ll need enough room on your wall sockets to plug it in. Cord is long at 68” (5ft 8 in).

Well, it finally arrived after about 3 weeks. Works as advertised! As others have disclosed it is very bright! Settings vary from Wear Your Sunglasses, to Better Set It On a Trivet, to Melt Your Kitchen Table bright. Might take some getting used to, but I do believe it has been helpful and the research bears this out. Very affordable. Thanks.

This HappyLight light therapy lamp deserves this review. I have consistently used this lamp especially during cloud-filled days and deep winter cold days. There are several light settings, I prefer the max light. Very uplifting lamp and I will strongly recommend this light therapy lamp to anyone dreading cloudy days. This lamp will help boost your mood and energy levels.

Coffee bestie.. It does the job! I use it in the morning while I drink my coffee for around 15 min. There are three settings for a timer in 15 min increments.. There is also a setting for three different brightness modes. There is a mount on the back or a stand. My dogs seem to like it as well, they lay right here with me every morning.

I can't tell if it's the light that helps alleviate seasonal depression, or if it's the relief of not having your eyeballs bombarded by the supernova of photons this thing shoots at you when it finally turns off. Whatever it is, if you want a bright light, this thing has got you covered.

I would have given the Verilux Happy Light Lumi Plus a five star rating had the timer not stopped working after almost three months. I purchased this light because I have Seasonal Affective Disorder during the winter months. After about a week of daily morning use, my mood lifted - exactly what I hoped would happen - and I was thrilled with the effectiveness of this light. The size is perfect; it does not take up much space. The electric cord is a good length. The cord can be plugged in/unplugged on the back of the light. The different levels of brightness to choose from are wonderful; some days I prefer a very bright light while other days I prefer a lower level of light. And the timer, divided into 15 minute increments with 15 minutes being the minimum and 60 minutes being the maximum, was perfect until it stopped working after almost 3 months. Otherwise, the light is continuing to work just fine.
