I was a bit iffy on other brands after experiencing the incredibly lackluster quality of Nanoblocks but Pix Brix are actually a neat little alternative. They're not quite as good as Lego, in that the bricks don't lock together as securely from top to bottom, but the interlocking puzzle-piece sides will be difficult to take apart once together. This might be a problem if you frequently take apart your builds, but if you're like me and prefer to display things for a while (and don't mind employing some pliers,) this is acceptable.The Bob Ross set is a nice homage to my favorite artist, though I do hope they come out with some themes of his actual work in future. The instructions aren't much better than Nanoblock's "Just stack layers, it'll be Fine" approach, but the more secure locking (especially on the sides) makes this less of a problem than it is with Nanoblocks.As well, Pix Brix being a single shape means that they are pretty easy to make custom builds with compared to Lego, especially if you're already familiar with making pixel art.

Got this Bob Ross pixel puzzle and an Artist Kirby plush as bday/Christmas gifts to a buddy who hosted a Bob Ross themed party - he loved both!! I can’t say for if the pixel puzzle came with all the necessary pieces yet, will maybe update my review (if I remember) with confirmation and a completed picture the next time he hosts another get together. Either way, it was a bomb gift and he appreciated it greatly!

Got this for a friend birthday. They loved it. Thought it was really cool how the can turned into a display case for the figurine.

This is actually a Christmas gift, but I think he's going to love it! Such a fun gift idea. Happy I found it!

Super cute. Fairly easy to follow instructions to assemble. Love the paint can is a display for it.
