Great!
This review is based on a 15 year old freshman. 5' 5" and 130 lbs. We ordered the adult baseball gear. The evoshield catcher system is amazing. The chest guard is certified to meet NCAA and Highschool 2021 safety regs. The wire at the bottom of the chest guard is great to help for it around the body. The plate insert keeps the chest guard off of the body just enough to keep baseballs from bouncing to far off the chest while blocking.The shin guards are narrow allowing for an easier time running. The two piece design allows for leg length adjustment up to two inches. This means room to grow. The lower half being moldable is awesome. Great protection and it keeps the shin guards narrow. The gel knee insert is also adjustable.My opinion is, if your not getting this new gear for your high school catcher to meet the new safety standards, you're doing a great disservice to your catcher. Another evoshield must are the moldable wrist guards. These are also essential in preventing injury while blocking.

Excellent Equipment
My son loves his gear! The inside of the upper leg guards is padded which is more comfortable for his knees when blocking. The two piece concept will allow us to adjust them as he grows…and he can even change the color of them. We bought all EvoShield gear this time around and it’s worth the money.

The foot strap goes under the shoe, not under the foot inside the shoe
This is a fantastic fit for a 5-11 guy with a 32 inseam so gauge your shines accordingly
