Will it stick to glass?

I believe so. The adhesive is very strong but I actually haven't tried it on glass.

will this stick on dry wall?

I'm not sure. I have it on the silvery panel of a kitchen backsplash and it is simple, but elegant. I will buy again. It will stick on the surface of a stove, refrigerator these types of appliances. I am assuming drywall is a standard wall in the house and I can't speak to that.

What is the total weight of this bar? I have limited space behind my bathroom door and plan to use command strips to secure.

It's pretty light, but I don't know the actual weight. I'm sure the shipping weight would get you pretty close. It's definitely a light metal, so not iron or steel or something. If you are wondering if it is strong enough to secure your towels, I'd say yes. We have them on the back of our bathroom door (it's a plastic vernier with fake grain so not perfectly smooth) and it works great! We put bought two so one towel on each and it has never fallen. You don't need to use command strips because it comes with a strong adhesive.
