Acorn Mens and Womens Original Slipper Socks - Cloud Cushion, Ragg Wool, Moisture-Wicking, Suede Sole

I see a lot of complaints about fit and outdoor use of these ... I mean, these are slipper socks for indoor use! These are not shoes! If you want to walk outside in the snow, put on shoes or boots and then go outside ...I have two pair of these and they are great! I really like the real leather soles and foam insole, instead of the cheap plastic soles that are sold on most house shoes ... They were a little tight on my ankles when new, but they relaxed a bit and fit perfectly now.These are perfect for letting the TV watch you, sauntering, meandering, posing, consuming hot beverages, midnight strolls through the house, napping and all sorts of other indoor inactivity ...<UPDATE>It has been a few years, and I must say, my Acorn's are still working strong. It is about 60 degrees inside, and I'm working in the garage on a cold concrete slab. The red stripes look especially special with my Adidas sweat pants.

Bought as a gift for my hubs. He loves them. Wore them out. Definitely ordering again.

These slipper socks are nice but could be nicer. The sock portion does Not have a heel; they are tube socks with a footpad sewn on. This means there is a little tightness getting your foot past the turn and then you end up with a roll of sock over your upper foot. Once that is all made comfortable, you are good to go.I wear mine indoors and out for short trips to the patio and backyard. The sole material looks to be durable enough to last more than one season with this type of use. The footbed itself has just the right amount of padding: not so much that the foot can slid to the side and not so thin you can feel the joints in a tile floor ;-)

Wearing them for several days now. The material was very tight and scratchy at the beginning, but have gotten better with repeated wear. The biggest issue is that the soul will sometimes roll to left or right under the heel. The sock part reaches all the way up to my knee which seems a bit long to me. The picture does not really fit the product. The sock part is a lot longer than it appears. So they are a little awkward to put on because you really have to pull up the whole sock in order to get your foot in. You can then roll down the sock. Another product that I had used had a much shorter sock which I liked better. These are not what I would classify as quick slip on. They do feel nice and are probably better for colder climates than warmer.

Wow. I am so sold on ACORN Unisex Slipper Socks. Like a lot of people in general, and especially a lot of people with flat feet, I had tried various kinds of open backed house slippers, semi closed back house slippers, flip flops and so forth, and found them all to be either very uncomfortable or that they just wouldn't stay on my feet. Not so with the ACORN Unisex Slipper Socks! Of course there's no problem with it staying on your foot. It's a sock. But the sock itself is very comfy thick wool with a small percentage of spandex that makes it a snug fits that's still easy to get on and off. The moccasin like leather sole on the sock has good thickness. Walking around in these slipper socks in a cold house with tile floors is dream. Super comfortable and warm. Another plus for me is that these slipper socks are light weight compared to shoe like slippers and will easy fold flat and fit into a suitcase or overnight bag for travel. RECOMMENDED.

JUNK!I have owned a pair of these for 15-20 years and love them. Decided to get another pair and to my disappointment the quality is gone. The upper wool is so tight they cut circulation. I tried to wear in hopes that they would stretch but alas they have not stretched and are unwearable. Yet another product made in China that is nothing but junk.

I wear these everyday. They keep my feet warm and feeling comfy. I can drive with them on, hop out of the car, pay for gas, smokes and a slushy. Pump my gas, get back in car and continue on my way. They're footwear that I never need to take off. Except to throw in the wash. In which I have a second pair to wear. I wear em all day and to bed. Only off to shower and when I have a be outside during the rain and snow. But live in an ar a that doesn't get a lot of snow so..... I'm wearing them now. Love em!!!!
