This was a gift for the holiday and it was the perfect choice. They had been wanting this set to go with their Tolkien collection of books but had been putting it off. The set arrived extremely well packaged and in beautiful condition. They love the look and feel of it and look forward to reading them. A great choice for anyone who loves the genre.

This is a gift so we haven't opened it yet. It was a good in between price option from similar soft covers to hard covers for this collection. I was a bit surprised by the size of the books. I didn't notice or read the specs but they are small to mid size books.

Highly recommend for and LOTR fans. These are great for travel. The leather is not flimsy like many other leather books. The box is very sturdy and they look lovely.
