I really wanted to like this corkscrew. My old faithful gave up the ghost and had to be replaced. I thought based on the description that this one would be effortless. It is not. Getting it in was not a problem. But getting the cork out took an incredible amount of effort. So much so, I could not do it by myself. I had to call my daughter to help me. I think the size of the cork made a difference. It was a long cork. So it might be ok with shorter corks. But I returned it because if I can't open a bottle of wine by myself, well....

Very flimsy.

I love this wine bottle opener. It's a bit different from the rabbit I grew up with, but it worksjust as well. The only issue I have is that when pulling the cork you may have to finesse it a little to get it out of the bottle. I've been able to do that easily, so for me itrates the highest feedback. Cheers!

Got the first one and didnt work. Was broken, ordered a replacement and the 2nd one was missing parts. Dont waste your time much better ones on the market

I’ve reviewed this before, I have arthritis and it’s the only one I can use with ease.

The screwpull has been THE way to remove corks, but there was a slight design weakness in the support of the gear used to pull the cork, which has been improved in this model. Three cheers.
