Forney 58603 Grinding Shield Replacement, Green, ‎0.25 x 9 x 18.75 inches

I purchased this as lens material for my TK helmet and it is performing extremely well. It's a perfect shade of green. I just trooped a dark stage event as my first troop with it and the tint was perfect. A shade darker would have been pushing it to be a bit too dark and lighter might allow eyes to be seen. Full sunlight does not allow eyes to be seen and that's without the inside of my bucket painted flat black yet. The material cuts very nicely with heavy hardware scissors and drills and shapes nice. It did not crack when I drilled it for mounting holes or while I was cutting. The finish is a high gloss that cleans up very well so far. It's big enough to get probably four sets of individual lenses out of the sheet or at least two (possibly three) sets of one-piece lenses (eyes joined). Hope this helps! d

Bought this to switch out the completely see-through lens' that came on my EFX helmet, this shield works perfectly and it does have a dark green tint to it. Can hardly see in, but not a problem seeing out of it, material is also very easy to cut and is not brittle at all, very flexible. Definitely recommend this if you're thinking of using it the same way I used mine!

I also upgraded the lenses on a Black Series Stormtrooper helmet with this grinder shield. I thought the stock ones were way too light. I know that is not the intended use of this item but it worked great. You could probably do 3 or 4 helmets with one shield if you are careful. Cuts pretty easily and is fairly easy to manipulate. Nice color too.

I got this item for a replacement mandolorian visor for my Rubie's two piece bucket. It only has enough space for once visor so be careful with your cuts and make sure to leave the protective film on until you're ready to appy it. Visibility is great and I think I have enough left over for my Phase II clone trooper build!

Used this shield for a DIY Mandalorian mask. It works great, you can see out but others cannot see in.

This replacement face shield fit the Forney frame it was designed for. Nothing fancy, just a decent shield that was priced right.

Probably the best visor I've ever bought for my purposes. I cut it down and it had enough.room for a boab Fett visor, stormtrooper lenses, AND a full scout trooper lense all in one sheet! $20 well spent!!

This was supposed to replace a clear face shield on my Forney Command Pro. Although the ad says clear it is both tinted and somewhat textured so that the view is hazy and distorted. Yes, I removed the protective plastic first. Worthless in my opinion

While I know this grinding shield is generally for torch cutting etc, it happens to work amazingly for cosplay props. I used this lense to make the t visor cutout for my son's mandalorian helmet, best part is, these are durable!

Dark green, close to black, clear to see through once the sticker protectors are peeled off but dark enough to not have people see your face. Cut very easy to size and was nice and flexible
