Great knife not recommended for large areas
Great blade cuts open cell foam with ease, it is a lot of manual labor. Not recommended for larger areas. Will work great as a bread knife

Very sharp - hard to find
Hard to find tool that works exactly like you think. The thing is incredibly sharp which makes it easy to use. I used it to trim 2lb closed cell insulation on garage doors which have cavities like studs. Would probably work even better on studs as designed. Blade is very flexible which is great. Came with wood handle like pictured which was well attached.

Using it to cut Spray Foam Insulation (2 pound foam)
BLUF: This cutter will likely make your trimming job easier, but it was physically demanding. And the learning curve was kinda steep... This cutter is made to cut 1/2 pound foam, and the foam I was cutting was 2 pound expanding spray foam insulation (Foam It Green brand). This was not the perfect tool for the job, but on the whole I'm definitely glad I bought it. To make it work for me, I would put on decent work gloves and use it two handed (one hand on each side of the cut). I almost had to, because the blade is too flexible to cut 2 pound foam straight on. That flexibility was how it was useful to me though. I was able to utilize it to do most of the rough trimming, especially in tighter/curved spaces, to trim the insulation I'd sprayed in my motorhome. It was physically hard work though, especially before you get the hang of how and what cuts to make with it (smaller, shallow-ish, and breaking the foam off as you go). I had to follow up with a belt sander for the final flush-trimming, but on my first round of applying and trimming the foam I used JUST the belt sander and it was significantly more work than it was without the foam saw.

It worked better than I thought it would
I bought this so I could trim the excess foam. It worked better than I thought it would. Very easy and make clean cuts with very little clean up.Be very careful because it is very sharp.

Money wasted.
Knife is sharp but would not cut closed cell foam as advertised at all. Money wasted.

Foam insulation saw
It’s a great saw the handle needs a little more contour maybe slightly larger for gripping
