Helly Hansen Women's Seven J Waterproof, Windproof, and Breathable Rain Jacket with Hood

This rain jacket is exactly what I was looking for. The material is a little thicker than most cheap rain shells, so it looks and feels like better quality. It's also quite water proof, although I haven't yet tested it in continuous downpour. But most importantly the fit and the cut is exactly what I've been missing from so many other shells. I'm 5'8" with a full hourglass frame, 40"B/30"W/48"H, wider shoulders. So I really struggle to find jackets that fit well. This jacket has room for my hips and shoulders, without being super wide and boxy in the stomach area. I have a long neck too, and the hood is big enough to actually keep my face kinda dry EVEN WITH A PONYTAIL!!! Definitely worth the money. The large fits very comfortably and has room for layers since I live in a colder climate. In warmer places I might have gone with Medium. Hope this helps!

High quality for sure, fits nicely, though as other reviews says is pretty fitted through the body, but nice room in the shoulders. I usually wear XL in most things and that is what I ordered and it fits well though slightly more snug though the mid section due to my constant dietary indiscretions. I have another HH raincoat which is the same size and fits very similarly. The color is a beautiful fusia color not the dark orange it shows in the picture! The fabric is nice and doesn’t feel plasticy or stiff. Haven’t had any rain yet so wore it out in a very stiff wind and it was cozy and wind-proof. Hood seemed to fit nicely. I have no doubt it will be water proof as all HH stuff is. Nice pockets, zipper and velcro on sleeves to make adjustable at wrist. I LOVE it!

I am a mail carrier on a walking route. Not only was it cold (35-40 degrees) but it rained the entire time I was walking. This jacket was a life saver. The water rolled right off like a car windshield with rain X. Since I was out there for hours on end the water did stick eventually in some spots where it was just constant rain but it never seeped through inside the jacket I stayed dry and warm the entire time. It also didn’t take long for the jacket to dry once I was out of the rain which was very helpful. I am 5’3/ 130 pounds and purchased a size small and still had room to fit a hoodie underneath. The jacket is a little more expensive but the quality is unmatched and worth every penny!

If you're pear shaped like me, you may want to pass on this waterproof jacket. I wear a small in every outdoor jacket I own. From Patagonia to North Face to Arc'teryx. I purchased this jacket in Medium so I could wear bulky wool sweaters underneath for a vacation, but when I tried to zip it up after trying it on for the first time while wearing a T-shirt and jeans, I could barely zip it because it was very snug on my hips. Sizing issues aside, this is an excellent rain jacket! The style and shape is extremely flattering. The construction and stitching is top notch inside and out. The outside fabric is also extremely water repellent. Due to the high quality fabric and construction, I'm honestly really sad this jacket didn't fit me. I sent it back because I'd be swimming in the chest and arms of a Large. If you're not pear shaped like me, don't hesitate, buy this excellent rain jacket right now! (I took off one star only because it didn't fit me)

Perfect layering ski jacket. I like this shell jacket because I can wear a thick hoodie or sweater underneath. Or if it’s spring skiing I only need a base layer. So many ski jackets nowadays have at too many layers for the skiing we do out west. Good quality and I loved the color combo.

My wife love this waterproof jacket ! I took advice from other reviewers,ordered size large instead normally medium.She’s 5’2” 130 lbs.Fitted my wife perfectly with room for medium weight wool sweater.Material and construction are very good,recommended!

Pretty color and nice jacket, but the shoulder width and arm length are disproportionate to the body of jacket, which is on the small size. I found this to be true for both L and XL.

As most have said, order a size up. My measurements were at the bigger end of a Large on the size chart, but tried it anyways. The only way it would fit is with one layer underneath. If I wanted to add another layer, it would be too tight. So, I ordered an XL and it's perfect fit. Definitely order one size up. Really nice jacket and well made.

I love the colour and style of the jacket. I am a medium, but so glad I bought the large after reading reviews. Size up one or two sizes.

Klasse Jacke ! Das Mintgrün ist sehr, sehr schön. Die Verarbeitung... Helly Hansen! Saubere Nähte, gut verschweißt, einwandfrei laufende Reißverschlüsse, die Größenangaben passen. 5* Die Kapuze ist hinten verstellbar!! Das war nicht auf allen Bildern eindeutig festzustellen & das ist für ein richtiges Mistwetter Gold wert. Meine Empfehlung: Wer eine ordentliche Regenjacke sucht... diese ist wirklich gut.

Muy buena calidad,el modelo es muy bonito ,pero si lo quieres para usarlo en capas pide una talla más grande :)
