Ripe Plantain (Pack of 5)

I haven't tasted them yet but the sizes are pretty decent. I like that they're not too ripe since I'll be the only one eating them I wouldn't be able to get through all of them before they go off. A little more than buying them at the market but you don't have to pay for travel and you can get them cheaper if you subscribe. It was delivered but DPD, who I usually have a great experience with and it came on the first expected delivery date

Were rotting on arrival , went straight into rubbish bin .

The initial was delayed a number of days by Evri and I had concerns about the condition pantains would be in, I contacted the seller who was very responsive and arranged for the delivery of replacement plantains. The original parcel arrived, but the plantains were black,bruised and old. Thankfully the replacements were fab!! Will order again and hopefully no issues this time around. Very happy with these.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to get any exotic fruit or vegetables where I live and one thing I miss are plantain and karela - bitter gourd. I was shocked to find them on amazon!! So, ordered yesterday - dispatch note stated delivery next Friday (I was concerned about ending up with a plantain smoothie by that time...!) However, they arrived TODAY! The plantains are all firm, fairly large, and I'm looking forward to frying up a couple for breakfast with clotted cream! I'm not too concerned about the skin colour - I ordered 10, some to share with my neighbour who always shares theirs with me! I paid over £12.00 which really isn't bad for 10, with next day delivery - bravo and huge THANK YOU to the seller!

The only issues I have is the delivery It took too long to I almost cancelled the order. However, it was good quality plantain not too ripe nor too green it’s just right. 👌 Please try and delivery earlier than later.

This is the 3rd time I’m making an order. The second time had few over ripe and soft but others good. The first and the 3rd time i got perfect plantain. So I’m pleased and still give it all 5.
