Solar Fountain Pump 6.5W Panel with Battery Backup Solar Water Pump Floating Fountain, 6 Nozzles, for Bird Bath

Zero assembly required except securing the screw attachment for the power wire. The battery was already charged partially so the moment it hit the sunlight and the pump went underwater it began pumping. It seems high quality for it's class, the lowest priced class. I did not want to spend a lot on this item. It functioned flawlessly all day so far. As sunset came, it was also overcast and raining. There was enough sunlight to keep it pumping!!! Most fountain pumps would have stopped at this point. The extra features of a battery to keep pumping for a while after dark, compared to direct current to the pump is great. The feature to prevent overheating of the pump by low water levels is also great, most in this class lack that feature. It has a long power cord so the solar panel can go in a better light area than the container pond which is partially shaded intentionally. I honestly think that his is the highest quality system in the $14 to $17 USD price class. Pick this one. (in the video attached, I did not add the fountain attachment and instead only need the water to move across the surface, you actually get better aeration and cooling that way, but you can still see the water move. the betta fish seems to like it.)

I bought this Aisitin 6.5 w solar pump late July 2024. It worked great until the pump stopped working six months later. I took the pump apart, cleaned the impeller to no avail. I went to the Aisitin store to see if they had a pump replacement as the solar panel is in good condition. But they don't offer a pump replacement. The pump electric cord fitting is two-pronged, therefore other single pronged 6.5 solar pumps won't fit I have owned several solar pumps and still have others that have worked for two years and counting. . I am deeply disappointed.

We added the black rocks. Works well so far. Will update if anything changes. After several days it stopped working but just needed some debris cleaned out. Hope it lasts. 4 stars because I’m still unsure, but we do love it!

I ordered this solar pump a couple of times for different backyard fountains. The pump is compact yet powerful enough to pump my 30" high fountain. Since it powered by solar energy, no need to hook up house electricity. I think this is well designed product that performs extremely well.

I'm going to be honest, I didn't really have high hopes for this given the price. But weeks later it is still going. Will it last a full season? We'll see. It does only work when the sun is directly on the solar panels, so placing it properly is very important. The long cord does help quite a bit with this though. I wanted this for the actual noise so I used the attachment that put the most streams back into the water fountain. I did try one of the included ones that sends the stream straight up, and it did. In fact, it surprisingly sent water up a couple feet. I can see this working well in a bird bath, just make sure it is deep enough so it doesn't suck air if the level drops.

Bought 2 of these to use outdoors in fountains about a year ago. The pump on one stopped working after 9-10 months. Cleaned it out thoroughly...hooked it up to the 2nd solar panel...still didn't come back to life. Just dead. The second one is still going strong after over 1 year, so fingers crossed it doesn't break down too. Very easy to setup and operate as advertised...just be aware this item may not even last a year. Buyer Beware!!

As a solar water pump owner of many to which this one is Great & with stake holder could not ask for more! I was surprised that this one worked in much lower light compared to the reviews of other units. This one does not have a battery, but also only needs bright sunlight to work. In other words, it only works when the sun is hitting it. Maybe they can add a battery to hold some charge to it. It's otherwise really easily to install and very pretty. Great product!

This pumped well until it didn’t any more. Didn’t even last 2 months. I washed it out and cleaned the filter every few days when I changed the water. The solar panel had to be facing the sun at all times in order for it to work. So when the sun moved I’d have to move the solar panel too. Annoying! I have others that just have to be facing up towards the sky that work all day long. Buy another brand.
