Highly recommend
Absolutely the greatest stuff for IBD in my opinion. Works great both diarrhea and constipation, and no taste at all. Once dissolved can be added to hot or cold liquids and foods.

User for life
Like many people who have bought and used Heather's Tummy Fiber, I have IBS. I have tried lots of different commercially available fiber supplements from all different brands and Heather's has BY FAR worked the best for me. Unlike other fibers, especially those containing Inulin, Heather's doesn't make my stomach upset or give me gas (sorry for the TMI lol).I typically use it twice a day - once in my morning cup of coffee and then once in my evening cup of tea or water, etc. I usually mix it with something hot just because it dissolves faster and I don't have to spend as much time stirring. If you buy the canister there are dosage instructions on the back (I forgot to look if there were instructions on the back of the pouch before I threw it away, so if anyone knows and can post about it that would be great). Experimenting with the dosage takes a little time because everyone's digestive system is different, but it is well worth it in the end. Something to note is that your body's own fiber requirements may change over time as well. I used to use the minimum amount, which worked fine for a while. My stomach started to get a little touchy again as winter progressed and I was moving around less, however, so I tried upping the dose a little. My digestive system was happy again. Now that it's summer and I'm back to being my normal active self my stomach is perfectly happy with returning to the the lower dose . So you really have to test your body and see what's best for you.Another nice thing about Heather's is that I can't taste it at all when it's completely mixed in, which is nice, and it has really helped to keep my digestion regulated and my stomach happy. One canister has lasted me over 5 months - I actually just bought this pouch to refill the canister. That's the only thing I would say in warning - buy the canister first or have another method of storage ready. There is no way to reseal this pouch, so you'll need a container to store it in.As a side note, I also bought Heather's peppermint tea for IBS and use it in conjunction with the fiber supplement. Heather's fiber keeps my digestion running on schedule and the tea works great for attacks and keeping my stomach happy when I eat something I shouldn't lol.Basically what I'm saying is that Heather has found a lifetime user in myself and I hope if you try it out it helps you as much as it has helped me.

Wonderful product!
I've dealt with IBS for many, many years and this fiber is the most helpful product I've found to help make my life feel anywhere close to normal. It takes a little experimenting and tweaking to arrive at the dosage that works best for you, but it's worth the effort, for sure. At first I had a little trouble stirring it briskly enough to get it to dissolve in a cold beverage (fruit juice, in my case), but then I got this amazing stirrer device, intended for use in a science lab, that works beautifully. It's very easy to use and available here on Amazon (just search for laboratory stirrer, I guess). It has a little circle base that plugs in and you set your cup/glass on it with liquid in it, put a little oblong shaped magnet in your drink and it spins the magnet around. When you get a good "vortex" going, then slowly add the fiber powder and it mixes it beautifully. Since the acacia fiber has helped me so much and I intend on using it for the rest of my days, investing a bit in this stirring device was well worth the money. The acacia fiber, however, can also be added to a creamy sauce on food you're eating, or mixed by hand. I tried stirring into a drink in a Ninja blender, but that tended to make it too frothy. However you get this stuff mixed into your diet, I'd highly recommend you just do it. It had helped me immensely! Also check out Heather's Youtube videos on IBS and get on her mailing list -- lots of good info, products and tips there.

Helping already, eight days into this fiber. | IBS is 98% controlled a month later.
Good product so far. I've noticed that my IBS symptoms have reduced in the eight days I've been using this, but I'm still trying to find out how much I need to be taking on a daily basis to, hopefully, one day be rid of my symptoms. As other reviewers have stated there's no actual flavor to this powder. I did notice that the liquid is slightly more gel-like with the fiber mixed in. I didn't like noticing that, so to combat it I am mixing it in with Gatorade so I notice the flavor more than anything else.I did find that I had difficulty getting the fiber to dissolve into liquid, even at room temperature. The best way I have found so far is to grab glass jars, I am using small (2.5 oz) baby food jars but I'm still at the two teaspoons per dose stage if you're taking a tablespoon or more you might want the four oz jars. Place your room temperature liquid of choice in the jar first, I fill the jar halfway, then add the powder. If you have extra room then add more liquid leaving a small air gap to shake the jar later if you notice any lumps still hanging around. I mix mine at least three hours in advance leaving no question that it will be fully dissolved, and I make enough for two days at a time (so four jars for AM/PM.)-- Update 9/16/17 --I've been taking this for a month now and my IBS is about 98% under control, I still have my off days, but this stuff is miraculous. In my original post I used baby food jars to put my fiber in. I'd recommend skipping that and going straight to the Starbucks Frappuccino style of bottle. I spent $4 buying tiny baby food jars when I ended up later spending $7 buying these. I still mix them the same way, fill your jar half full of liquid then add your powder. Depending on how much Tummy Fiber you're taking you'll want to put a chopstick in there and stir to dissipate the blob of powder, then top it off with liquid. Since I'm making enough to last me a full day I go the extra step and after it's capped I shake the daylights out of it and leave it out on the counter for at least 12 hours, the fiber most likely dissolved much earlier but I don't typically pay attention since I don't need it just yet. Once it's dissolved I'll put my drink into the fridge until I'm ready for it. I will either put it on my desk and sip it throughout the day, but more normally a take a couple of swigs early morning, mid-afternoon, and late evening.Don't forget to re-shake it when you go to drink it. I'll take a picture later, but the fiber will sit towards the bottom of the bottle.
