Dermatology: Illustrated Study Guide and Comprehensive Board Review 2012 ed.th Edition

This is NOT comprehensive. It is a great overview of tons, but NOT all topics. Any Dermatology resident should be able to quickly pick up on this, along with comparison to his/her main text of comprehensive study (whether it be Andrew's and/or Bolognia). Example -- one will need to add the dyschromatosis/hypomelanosis differential to even begin making this more complete. There are many others, which you will find, and by writing them in you will reinforce your knowledge! With that said, this is a gem of an OUTLINE. There is much space for filling in needed minutia, adding topics, drawing in tables, and so on.Sincerely, highly recommend!

Concise, precise, yet thorough! I recommend this to all residents studying for in training exams and boards. It's very colorful and easy to read. Its a great book and very informative. But the quality of paper is a bit, I don't say poor, but like a newspaper but not so thin like that of a newspaper. I like how the book explains each disease in short but it doesn't talk about therapeutics.

This book is a gem. I'm a medical student on audition rotations for Derm and this book will make you look way smarter than you are. You just have to read it a couple of times because the info is challenging to remember. Book lays out the most pimped/most tested info related to Derm disease. Great tables.

Every Derm resident should own this book! I now use this instead of galderma binder. I wish I got ahold of this book earlier.

More portable, easier-to-read, and many many more photos than Galderma. Far fewer typos. I haven't re-taken my mock boards yet, so can't say how effective it is for me. Most of the residents in my program have purchased it.
