Size shown in ad is correct too small to use for most wood pieces
I wanted to use my drill to cut wood chunks for fireplace but the size you see is what you get too small unless you cutting kindling for a camp fire

shank not correct size
Had to trim the shank so it would fit in to a 3/8" extension, did not expect that when I purchased the item

Perfect if you live in a perfect world
If you live in Leave it to Beaver land where everything is perfect you will always have easy and convenient access to the point you want to drill. If you live in the real world where points are hard to reach or otherwise difficult to access, be aware that you cannot put an extension on these bits. You cannot even find extensions that fit these bits. It's ridiculous. Can there be a law that the only people who are allowed to make tools are people who use tools?
