So I have this thing with with cabbage, it's messy, it's hard to deal with, it's hard to clean up, and it's annoying. However I want to eat it. The purple cabbage gets purple all over my counters. And I'd like it shredded small for coleslaw which is a pain.I told you I had problems but no more. I'd been looking for a device to help with this problem and while this product was not very expensive, I took my chances and I'm so glad I did.It even made a believer out of,my mother. Which was a feet all of it's own.So these are the things I like the most, it's simple. It's easy to get out, it's easy to put together. It's also very quick, it does the job and it's easy to clean. Now it could be a bit sturdier but I'm giving it a perfect review because I bought a cost saving product, and it more than does it's job. It only specializes in fine shredding and I'm okay with that as well.So all that to tell you...It's quick and easy and effective. BUY IT and make some coleslaw. Add a carrot for color. Then slice up the finest cucumbers you'll ever eat. I love it and you will too!

I have only used one of the blades included so far but this is such a great time saver, especially at half the price of the name brand version. Much better alternative to hand grating, saves so much time and much safer. The part that connects to your mixer is very sturdy, I just feel like the blade inserts may break after prolonged use. Highly recommend for non-frequent use. I don't think it would hold up for daily use long. Blades are very sharp, chops veggies and cheese with ease!

I wanted one of these type of attachments for ages but just kept putting it off - not knowing what would be good or not. I finally broke down and bought this one - mainly for shredding cheese (because of all the additives in store bought shredded cheese). It works so well. I am so happy with how easy it is to attach and take off my stand mixer. I am sorry I do not have pics or videos but the product does what it says.
