I purchased this because the listing specifically claims compatibility with the Sony DAV-DX375. It is not even remotely compatible, and the connectors I received look nothing like the original Sony plug. The one in the photo that does not look like it’s been hacked up in my photo is my 20 year-old plug. As you can see, the one that they sent me is nothing like it. The genuine Sony connector is a 3-pin keyed plug with a proper locking tab and exact molded shape. What I received is a 2-pin connector that has been physically shaved and cut, with rough edges, exposed plastic, and an incorrect width. It looks homemade — as if someone tried to carve it down with a knife and hoped it would “fit well enough.” It does not fit at all. It does not lock. It cannot be inserted safely. And forcing it could damage the receiver. To make matters worse, the product images include a picture showing the correct style of Sony jack on the back of the DAV system — the same one I have — implying it will fit that port. It absolutely does not. For nearly $40, I expected properly molded replacement plugs. Instead, I received something that looks like a rejected prototype. I have included a photo comparing the original Sony plug (left) with the one I received (right) so other buyers can see the difference clearly. If you own a Sony DAV system — especially the DAV-DX375 — do not buy these. They are not compatible, and the listing is misleading. Unless you want to put pieces of shaved plastic into your receiver, I would not buy these for anything.

Purchased these wires for replacement because my dogs chewed through original wiring. So far no issues.
