I am a non- professional and I did it to myself.. You can do it but it is a long process and time consuming. It took me 4 hours or more but my hair is very thick and long.. So I recommend let someone help you for the first time and follow the instructions exactly. And you will like it..

This great product reduces kink, curl and frizziness in curly to coarse hair! No, your hair does not permanently change forever. The treatment lasts for up to 4 months (at least with my hair). My hair is thin but very curly and frizzy. The level of "straight" depends on the time left on the hair. Well I can’t say for sure. I have totally opposite, my hair is thick , coarse and frizzy. This product is for frizzy unruly hair. There is a table of how long you should keep in your hair. I believe if you search for that table on the web it will explain for your hair type and results you are looking for.
