Works great. Torture tested.... not joking. Read below.
So I saw many folks saying these were not good, fragile and broke easily.... I bought 2 sets to "play with them and test prior to a real install.I got 2 for "stress testing" and 2 to use if the first 2 passed my tests. If not, I simply planned to return the 2nd pair and call it a day.I dropped one on the ground a few times off the work bench about 20 times. No breakage..... OKAY GOOD.I soaked it in gas overnight and repeat tested that test. PASSED that test too.I installed it in fuel lines and was quite rough(simulating a drunk man install)... the nipples didn't break, they bent and stayed leak free....I then smashed it with a hammer the next day. It was obviously destroyed but it did not shatter. It just SMASHED flat and the stone broke apart.Tested the 2nd one by freezing it overnight and repeating the tests(all after a refreeze). Passed them all except for the smash test(while frozen) causing the plastic to break some after multiple blows by the bfh.... I can't fault it after this kind of abuse. My conclusion is that either they "fixed" the problem by manufacturing these from a different thermo plastic or some are made in another facility and are much crappy and these coincidentally were not. 4/11/22, for reference. 👍👍👍

Easy to install
I had some gunk in my fuel line causing all sorts of problems with my scooter. Popped these in and haven't had a single issue since. They're easy to install and seem well-made. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to keep their fuel system clean.

Is better than nothing
Works great for large particles but still allows some of the really fine dust through. Would work great on lawnmowers and things with a perfect gas tank. However on a Harley with a so-so tank it doesn’t stop everything. Overall it flows well and is a good value.

Nice little product
I purchased this for a small 3.5HP Tohatsu/Mercury outboard motor. 2 stroke. I had issues with dirty fuel the previous year. This design also helped with less fuel line sharp bends improving fuel flow. It was a tight fit into the fuel line it’s very snug. The fuel line I have required using some pressure/heat to push the device in, heat on fuel line only. The carb, and filter was not in the motor when heat gets applied. NO FUEL involved. This fuel filter is made of good quality material. I was concerned about breaking it. No issues at all. The product is now installed in my motor I have no way to test it until Spring when our east coast USA weather warms up. I am impressed with the design and with how tiny compact it is.UPDATE Oct 2023. Works as advertised very impressed no fuel issues this year at all. Thank you👍.
