Let's Go to the Potty!: A Potty Training Book for Toddlers

My 2 year old loves this book. He insists that we read it almost every time he sits down to potty. He loves singing the little song. I think it’s helped tremendously with the process. This is the 3rd child I’ve potty trained and this has probably been my favorite potty book and most loved by toddler.If you’re worried it’s too long from other reviews — don’t be. I don’t understand how anyone could think this book is too long! It only takes a few minutes to read as there is about one sentence on every page.I personally appreciate that they broke it up that way because it allows me to stretch the book out and take longer if I need to (some potty breaks take quite a long time… as any one in the trenches of training can tell you 😝)

I think this is an excellent book to prepare your toddler for potty training.I looked at several books, but they were too silly and not straightforward enough. I wanted something fun and cute but straightforward enough to use as a teaching tool to introduce my toddler to what it will be like to potty train.This book was perfect for us. It has sweet and fun illustrations that are appropriate for a boy or a girl and don’t show any private parts or excrement.It uses clear and concise language (such as “you might have to wait for the pee and poop to come out”) that a toddler can understand.It also tells each step of potty training: wearing diapers, how to know when to use the potty, what steps to take when it’s time to go potty, and starting to wear underwear.My 2.5-year-old really enjoys reading this book and has requested it repeatedly. He interacts with it and seems to be learning from it.This is a great teaching tool and I would definitely recommend it!

This is a cute kids book for beginning potty training. Our daughter loves looking at the pictures and it will hopefully help with her understanding. The board book itself is nice and durable.

Love this book! Bought it for my little one as we are beginning to talk about potty training. Does a great job of incorporating all aspect of potty training and even shows different potty’s. She loves it! We leave it in the bathroom to read when she wants to go. Definitely one of the better potty books I have seen!

Great book for help with potty training. Very positive & fun.

My toddler LOVES this book! A friend let us borrow her copy for potty training and we liked it so much we had to buy one too. My kiddo requests to read this book not only on the potty, but at bed time too! I personally love the gender neutral illitrations; easy for kids to relate because they assume they are the same as them. I will warn you that the potty song is addictive. I walk around work with it in my head and our family added lyrics.

This book is helpful my two and three year old at day care loved it kept them interested
