Great 2 pack with adjustable brightness
The media could not be loaded. I got these when on offer (£7.99), but don't think the normal (£9.99) price is excessive. I needed 2 and having adjustable brightness was a deal closer. They look & feel well made. Each plug is ~8.5 cm tall (it aligns exactly with our sockets which are also 8.5cm) and each projects 4.5cm from the socket. The dawn/dusk sensor works well and the brightness is easy* to set. To change the brightness, touch and hold the finger print logo (located between the light and the dawn/dusk sensor) and it will reduce in brightness. Then simply let go at your desired brightness. To increase brightness, touch and hold again. The light cast is warm white.I have been using them now for a couple of weeks and they perform exactly as required. Of course the bulbs can't be changed (as per night lights of old), but the ability to change the brightness is an improvement. I have switched the socket off and on and it remembered the brightness I set, though I can't say how long it will remember the setting if left unplugged.[* If you have impaired mobility or use a wheelchair, setting the brightness whilst plugged into a low level socket may be awkward/challenging. However as it remembers it's setting, plug it into a high level socket to set the brightness first, then move it to a low level socket to use].

A very useful and reliable night light with 2 levels of brightness
You get two of these very useful little plug-in night-lights. The brightness has two settings. When first switched on it delivers the brighter light. If you just put your hand briefly over the front the light will dim to its lower setting. After a month or so of use I can say that these work perfectly. It turns itself on at just the right moment in the evening and reliably stays off during the day, which is what you want. You will know why a light such as this is so useful around the house and if that's what you are after this is a very good option at a very reasonable cost.

Work great, but not very bright
Whilst these lights are doing exactly what I need of them, it would be nice if they were a little bit brighter.I bought these so that we could save on electric. Basically, I don't want Hall or stairs lit up at night by more costly lights. The good part is that they automatically turn on exactly when you need them, and turn off exactly when you no longer need them perfect.I have one at the top of my stairs, and one at the far end of the hallway. This is just enough light for my teenage kids to arrive home late and not disturb us.

Great buy for parents/soon to be
With a baby on the way, I was on the hunt for lighting solutions that could create a soothing atmosphere during evenings and nights around the house. This has turned out to be a fantastic choice.Recommended by my brother, who's already been through the parenting journey, these lights have already been a game-changer. They provide just the right amount of illumination to keep things visible without disrupting the sleep stateI'm not entirely sure how it works, but the dusk to dawn photocell sensor is a core feature. It means I don't have to fumble in the dark to find a switch. The light automatically adjusts itself, making it a no-fuss solution for when I need to navigate the house during the night, while not completely waking myself up.

Spot on.
I won't lie, at nearly 30 years old, I still don't like the dark. And my 10yo daughter has picked up on and followed suit with the same fear.Leaving the landing night on every night was becoming rather expensive, as the bulbs that we have to use take a lot of energy.First night using these and they're great. They start off dim in the early evening, but once the area around them is darker they brighten up. Absolutely perfect for finding your way to that bathroom in the night. We have one on the landing and one in my daughters room. She's gone straight to sleep with no issues. And I'm currently laid in bed, quite happy that I can see a decent amount of light through the bedroom door which is ajar.Hopefully they save us a little bit of money too.

Good product
Lovely lights. Our landing can be quite dark at night. The set of 2 we used for downstairs at the bottom of the stairs and for upstairs at the top of the stairs. It is very helpful especially for our little one if he wakes up during the night and need to go to the toilet (upstairs hallway) or he needs a drink (kitchen downstairs). Now neither my little one or is we don’t need to put the big bright lights on because these night lights do their job very well. As soon as they sense a bit of brighter light they will switch off and switch on as soon as they sense darkness. Great value of the money

Not as bright as I'd hoped
I bought these to use in my downstairs hall and kitchen to give a soft warm light where there is no spaced to put a lamp. they are convenient in that they can be plugged straight in and they can be dimmed but even on the brightest setting it doesnt give out much light. It would be fine for a nightlight but not for actually illuminating an area for anything useable.
