Wright's Baking Oat & Linseed Bread Mix 500g (Pack of 5)

always use this brand of bread mix because always gives good mixing and soft fresh bread. good taste,easy to mix and shape. i would say though expensive. all individually wrapped in paper bags and plastic wrap around all og them.

For some reason I've had trouble finding this particular breadmix in my local supermarkets so have ordered from Amazon. They had extremely good use by dated and were well packaged so no rips or tears on the packet. Very pleased.

I make a single loaf by hand. It's very quick and simple and makes very tasty, reliable bread. I make it in a le creuset casserole with that lid on and get a good crust. I think the flavour is much richer and more interesting than my usual plain wholemeal and white flour combination. It's a nice consistency too, cuts with a sharp knife and not too dense but with some good texture. Highly recommend.

Easy to bake the ready mix. Just pour into the breadmaker container and 320ml of water and it bakes in 2 and half hours. Nice flavours. The only draw back is the price at £11.99 for 5 packs, I think it works out a bit too expensive.

After having at last being able to grab a Russell Hobbs 23620 Compact Bread Maker we were after an easy start to bread making with it. We bough this multipack of Wrights Baking Mixed Grain Bread Mix. The first loaf came out slightly small using the quantities stated on the packet but the texture, colour, and flavour were excellent. For the second loaf we used the appropriate instructions / quantities from the Bread Maker instruction book (just using the flour & water). It came out perfect in size, colour, texture, crust thickness, and flavour. We have bought all the ingredients for a DIY loaf of bread but will still use the Wrights Baking Mixed Grain Bread Mix in between.

Well, we were sceptical about buying a ‘bread mix’ when my husband normally makes ours from scratch. However we tried this mix based on reviews we had read because we could not source our favourite bread flour during the early stages of lockdown. I can confirm all the reviews are correct. It makes tasty, well risen bread. It is expensive at around £2 per load, but again, that is what they are charging in my local supermarket for an ‘artisan’ loaf which is not half as nice. So if you like making your own bread I would recommend giving this mix a try.

Strong and quite a strong saltiness .. Not as good as the ones you mix yourselves ..
