Thin plastic but works well for the price
I saw someone said it broke on them, I can see how that could happen, you want to hold it on the groves on the side when cutting a pill. If you push it closed from the top you could possibly break it and get cut.

cheap plastic but cuts pills cleanly. as expected for low price

Didn't work for me
It worked for about the first 20 pills (magnesium vitamin) and then the plastic cracked directly below where you place the pill and the blade comes down. I am back to using a knife.

Works Great!
Absolutely super cheap and works great. This is my second one in about 5 years! Bought a nice heavy duty one and that one worked like crap. Went back to this one quick!

Does what it's supposed to
The razor blade is not centered perfectly on mine - I don't know if all are the same or not. Because of this, I have to purposely shift the lid and purposefully line up the blade with the middle of the pill so it cuts evenly. A little more effort, but as long as I'm aware of it, it gets the job done. You get what you pay for, but decent enough for the price I paid.
