I Love the Bio Chem Whey Protein Powder
There are many choices when it comes to protein powder, and if you are not careful, you can spend a small fortune. The Bio Chem range, from Country Life Vitamins, is the best I've found for the price. I've tried both the Vanilla and the Natural, and my preference is the Vanilla, since it taste great in milk without having to add anything else. The Natural, on the other hand, is very bland in milk, and is probably designed for blending with a flavor of your choosing, such as fruit, chocolate, etc. While I prefer the taste of the Vanilla, it comes at the cost of 7g of sugar per serving, while the Natural has no added sugar. So if you want to avoid the added sugar go with the Natural. From a cost point of view, I've found that the Vanilla is the best value, especially when you buy the big 848g container. The Natural, on the other hand, only comes in a 699g container and retails for about the same price. On Amazon the Vanilla in the 848g container is always cheaper than the Natural in the smaller container. I guess it's all to do with demand. In terms of the product itself, I have been very happy with it. I drink a serving mixed with milk after every workout and I find my muscles heal very quickly. I have also tried mixing it with water, and while drinkable, it's no way as tasty as with milk. Some people report issues with mixing the powder. As with any powder you can end up with lumps if you don't mix it right. Either mix the powder with a small amount of liquid and slowly add more, or do what I do: add a couple of ice cubes to a sports bottle and mix in milk and the protein powder, secure the lid, and shake vigorously. Of course the third option is to use an electric blender. Just don't complain that it doesn't mix well, it does, so long as you do it right. This product comes recommended. Buy with confidence.

Very happy with this protein powder
This is a nice high-protein powder that is not chalky and is very easy to dissolve into things without making them too thick. Flavor and smell are fine, it's fairly lightly flavored so it doesn't tend to overwhelm the food it is in. Overall a solid value for the cost.

Great Tasting Whey Protein
Really enjoy this whey protein. The flavor is very good for a whey product and I mix it with cold unsweetened vanilla almond milk ,as I am over using a blender. Too much work for me. The product arrives in a sealed canister, taste fresh. My husband does not use as he has some problems with whey protein. So far, I have not had this problem myself.

Disappointed recently changed to plastic container
I love this protein powder, I started using it over a decade ago when my personal trainer recommended this brand. I’m really upset because they recently changed from having a cardboard cylinder container to having a plastic container. I thought we were all getting away from plastic very disappointed in the packaging change.

Not a fan of NEW packaging at all!
LOVE this item -- HATE THE NEW PACKAGING! I appreciate the effort to be more sustainable with the packaging but it is now a mess to use! The opening is too small to easily get the tiny scoop into. There is no "edge" to level off the powder in the scoop. SURELY there's a way to be more sustainable AND user-friendly with this packaging!

Above average protein for smoothies. Quality protein.
This protein powder has a good taste, mixes well in a blender, and has high ratings for being free of chemicals and heavy metals. After some reading, I found this is one of the lowest cholesterol whey protein powder that was listed on the web. The puori brand one was the highest rated for quality. However that has more cholesterol. I bought this one and have been having it every few days after a hard workout. Not a lot of sugar and and no artificial sweeteners, which is good (to me. ) I will buy it again. I may try an unflavored protein. I would like to try the organic biochem, but it is much more expensive. Some notes: the scoop is buried in the canister and can be hard to find. The canister top seals well, so it stays fresh. If you don’t mix protein powders you probably don’t know that they don’t mix well in cold water or anything ice cold. Room temp for the best mixing. I use ice cold skim milk in a blender for 2 minutes with half a boiled green plantain, 2 tbsp peanut butter powder, 3/4 cup of Greek yogurt, half cup of Ezekiel cereal and the biochem whey. About 65 to 70 grams of protein. Mixes smooth.

Amazing flavor no chalky taste.
Wasn't sure what to expect. Love this protein powder. Very clean ingredients and taste delicious. Mixes well, adds a great flavor while adding protein to my coffee and treats. Also great in yogurt bowls. No chalky taste at all.

good stuff but getting more expensive
i've used it for years in various packaged quantities. Amazon Subscription often says out of stock for price increases. I've cancelled the subscription and will simply look for the best price. This is great stuff, don't get me wrong.. Just lots of size and price fluctuations which is irritating
