Marshall Pet Products Ferret Pop-N-Play Ball Pit, All Breed Sizes

I was a little disappointed when this came and the ferret was not as excited as I was about this ball pit. But this has quickly become a staple for his playtime. This arrived and was bigger than I expected. Even though it clearly states how many balls come with the pit, I thought "there would be more", looking down into the pit. I even thought about buying an additional ball pack. That being said, when he tips this over and starts playing soccer with these, there are balls all over our house!The balls quickly became crinkled and dented with tiny teeth holes in them. I used to spend time reshaping them into their round form again, but he would just dent them once more, making it easier for him to run through the house carrying them in his mouth. This is a great product for the price and for both the ball pit AND the balls.

I bought these twice for my ferrets ball pit. I don’t think I will buy them again cuz they don’t last long but the reason they don’t is because my ferrets loved playing with them so much that they squished them quickly and then they don’t roll but they had so much fun with them. It was so fun to watch them with them. I would recommend as a treat for your ferrets play time!

I bought this along with a pack of extra balls after reading reviews that it did not come with enough. My ferrets(2 males) were interested enough in it, so I added a bunch of round rattle toys, which made them enjoy it more. The balls seem to just too big for the ferrets to get their mouths on them, but my larger ferret was able to get his teeth on the balls and deflate/crush them. I don't consider this to be a huge problem as they will still dig around in the deflated balls just the same. You may want to keep an eye on this and remove any balls that get too damaged to avoid your ferrets swallowing any plastic(potentially life threatening.)

My rats enjoy this & you can connect those ferret freeway tunnels to it. Obviously this could get chewed up pretty fast, so I suggest it for a supervised playtime toy. I got them going with it by hiding treats among the balls, but they seem to like climbing over them and chasing each other around in it now as they like anything involving tunnels. My rats are smaller girls and cannot tip it over, but I can see how a large critter could if they climb up and sit on a side or jump off. I am giving it only 4 stars since it should come w/ more balls & suggest getting an extra pack or two when you buy it. You can use other kinds of balls in it too, of course. As some people have had problems with cats getting stuck in the holes, be sure to put this away if you have a kitty big enough to potentially get stuck.

We bought two pop-n-play sets when we got our Ferrets in May 2017. Our girls very quickly tore through the green fabric at the bottom of one of them - shredded it in fact. Okay, no big deal, we attach the tube & they can still play with it, although they do tip it over crawling in and out of it. Still fine. The second ball pit sat in our office upside down, and was one of our ferret's favorite places to sleep (on top of it, like a square hammock). Well the fabric started tearing on that one too, so we knew we'd have to get another one. It was more than a year after our initial purchase, and my how things have changed! The ball bit is /smaller/ somehow? Unless the ones we had stretched.. which, given the wire frame, seems unlikely. Also, the wire frame broke and popped out of the fabric channel holding it. Sharp metal pieces, poking out. This also ruins the structural integrity of the ball pit - our girls climb on top of it and it collapses. So we had to use one of the old ball pits (with the fabric torn out) as a support-frame for the new one. We also had to cover the metal ends with electrical tape to protect our girls from the sharp edges. In the end, I think it would be better if we could find a free-standing (but stable) hammock for our ferrets, because that's really what they want to use this thing for. But the quality on this is so low, clearly we're going to need to replace it on a yearly basis, and even "new" ones are faulty. Overall I think this toy is okay for ferrets, just don't expect it to hold up very long.

My ferret loves this, I bought this along with the Super Thru-Way tunnel and he's havin a ball, get it? ;DDDD I was afraid that he wouldn't be that interested in this, but he loves going in through one side and exiting through the tunnel; he enjoys when I throw the balls around while he's inside as well. I feel like this pit and the tunnel go hand and hand, you can't have one without the other. I saw some reviews about how this easily tips over, but personally that is not an issue. So what, you put the balls back and place it upright again. My ferret gets excited when all the balls go flying out and isn't this about the happiness of your pet anyway? If it's seriously an issue to anyone, they should consider Velcro or some other form of stabilizing the pit. That should not be a reason not to buy or take any stars away. You want perfection? Sorry, that doesn't exist. Thanks. All in all, I'm so happy with this purchase and so happy to see my munchkin having fun! I had been considering it for months, but seriously kept stopping myself because I thought he would not be interested. So wrong :)

I have 2 ferrets and the both love this ball pit. It was easy to set up Took less than a minute to 'pop' it up and put the balls in. At first i thought there wasn't enough balls for the ferrets, but it was just enough. We purchased a ferret tunnel to go with it. We've had this for over 6 months. It has not faded and is holding up well.

Awesome for my ferrets, they play and sometimes nap in it! Work great as a toy bin while I'm clean too.

Fantastic product. It is great build quality and the balls are just the right size for ferrets to play with. I do have to take a star off because it's really easy for the ferrets to tip over, sending balls everywhere. I have a ferret tube on order which is supposed to be attachable to the frame, which should help with stability.
