I was surprised at how much I liked these, they are amazing truffles for the money! I have paid twice as much for worse "gourmet" chocolate truffles in an expensive chocolatier in the past! The outside is a fine powder with an amazing soft center that tastes awesome, not too creamy or strong, just perfect flavor and texture. They are addicting, I ate the whole box in a few days :-)

When I read Bojangles reviews, there were common praises on taste and complaints about melting. I ordered in the fall and winter, never having an issue with melting. The truffle textures is smooth and has a nice finish. There are a variety of flavors. The cost is middle of the road, there are many chocolates companies that are more or less expensive, Bojangles chocolates are perfect to give as gifts or as an indulgent treat.

The product in the tins is excellent. The carton was a disaster! An envelope with a thoroughly smashed carton crammed into it arrived. The chocolates were not salvageable. The individual confections were smashed to a pulp, partially melted (?), had large, white waxy chunks and an odd scent. I will stick to the tins, thank you. Beautiful fantasy cats. Charming, whimsical wrappers. Delicious confections. *sigh* If only Popcorn Carousel had a cat tin.

Got these truffles as a gift and loved them so much I had to get more!

These were OK, but certainly not of the quality I expected based on the reviews. We did not finish them. They were waxy and not very flavorful.

The Bojangles Truffles are the best I've ever had. Great dark chocolate flavor, and not too sweet with a cocoa dusting.The problem is this variety box is advertised as "6 truffle varieties" and barely makes the cut from the box I got. As shown in the photo, there were 23 total truffles. 9 of them were one flavor and there was 1 flavor that only had one. It's not a good mix. I don't care if they use machines to sort it or what, but it's not a good result. I'm surprised a company that takes pride in its great confections allow such a terrible variety box to exist. At least the box has one really good feature: individually wrapped truffles keeps them from melting into each other, and it's not as easy to overeat "just one more" when you reach in.Let me start by saying none of the following affects the review score for this product, but it had to be mentioned (since it's Amazon's doing, not the product company's): The other problem is that the box is really cute and fancy, but shipping it in a sack destroyed it by the time I got it. I know this isn't the product's fault, but at least when ordered as a single item, Amazon ships it in a plastic bag and the nice card stock container gets demolished (see pics).I love the truffles and I like the individual wrapping, which is hard to find in their other truffle offerings. But if you order these, I recommend buying them in a larger order that might get shipped in an actual cardboard box, so you don't get Amazon trying to skimp with a plastic sack.
