Well made cover just a bit Bulky
This cover fits the controller well and is easy to mount. The only drawbacks were the depth of the cover, instead of making it so the plug is above or below the controller to make it more low profile the went behind the controller so it does stick out from the wall substantially. Also it is set up for you to wire it to a power source to if you are not mounting directly to the plug spot you will need to add an extension and plug to the leads. Easy enough to do if you have the extra wire and plug parts. It works well protecting the controller and allowing easy access for the operation of the controller. I live in a fairly dry climate but so far it has done a great job protecting the controller and keeping dust and water out.

fits
enclosure wirks great review actually for the timer itselfeasy install an connectivity to wifi. Great features. the fact it connects to local weather stations is amazing. on city water for irrigation so it turns off if local weather tower detects rain which has cut water bill in half. my previous rainbird w rain sensor was worthless. also when testing system has multiple options run all for whatever time amount or using ph app u can do single zones wo having to go to time. w a big yard big time saver ph app is easy to use als0

Best enclosure ever!
This is one of the best enclosures I have installed.First, it offers a 110 outlet inside the box with adequate space for the giant Wall Wart/ Transformer required. Also the 110 V wiring is isolated from the low voltage inside it's own section with a screw on door and proper 1/2 inch conduit hole to maintain safety.Second, there is plenty of room inside the box for a "service loop" for the valve wiring. This feature alone is worth the money as it makes the install look neat and allows for future replacement without cutting your wires short, like the last guys did for my system. The only drawback is there is only one conduit hole that comes as 3/4 / 1 inch. I feel the 1 inch is too small for larger installations with more that 12 zones as pushing the wiring through can become difficult. However the box is plastic and it would be easy to ask the electrician to add a hole for more valve wiring while he is installing the 110 volt supply. The controller fit is great and covers your service loop making the install look clean and professional.

Easy to install, looks great!
Love the way it looks, just wish it had a window to see the lights for the zones that are on.

It's a good enclosure, but it sucks that I had to buy it.
It should do it's job protecting my Rachio controller form the elements, especially sense mine is installed under a covered patio and doesn't see many elements, other than dust and dirt during the windy seasons. I bought it just to be safe, and because I thought it would look better for my particular installation environment. It's well designed and the Rachio controller fits in it nicely. It's designed to be hard wired into your home's electrical system, then the Rachio controller plugs into an outlet inside the box. It has 2 knockouts; one for the electrical connection which accepts a 1/2" conduit, and one for the sprinkler control wire which accepts a 3/4" conduit. In includes screws and anchors for wall mounting, wire-nuts for the electrical connection, and screws for mounting the controller into the enclosure. My sprinkler control wire is not in conduit, so it would have been nice if it included a weather rated grommet or bushing for that knockout to prevent dust/dirt/water ingress (water is unlikely as the hole is at the bottom). It would also be nice if it included a kit to wire a outdoor rated plug to the unit for those of us who can just plug into a near by receptacle, which is what I did for now.My biggest gripe is that I had to buy an accessory for this $200 sprinkler controller to make it weather resistant.I know selling these types of accessories is a big money maker, and that other sprinkler controllers also requires a separate purchase for weather proof enclosures; but for the most part, those controllers are inexpensive.Other similar sprinkler controllers (Blossom, Green IQ, Rainbird, Orbits, etc...) all are outdoor rated, or offer an outdoor rated option, and cost less than Rachio, with no need to purchase additional accessories.

Great item
This makes life so much easier, rather than having one without Wi-Fi. It was so very easy to install. It is compact. One thing I would suggest.......the face cover is held on with not so powerful magnets. The cover falls off with the slightest touch........I solved that easily by putting a piece of Duct Tape just across the top and down on the cover. This works perfectly as a hinge. There is plenty of space to do that. Also, when one opens it, flipping it up, there is enough angle that the top remains against the wall, allowing you to do whatever you need to do without the top flipping down again.
