I bought these to use on top of a glasstop stove. They provide a trivet for hot pots and pans out of the oven and are easy to move off the stovetop when not needed. The color blends in with the stainless appliances. They also serve as a pot holder when needed. Easy to wash. I like the sizing as well.

Purchased this silicone mat to put on top of our air fryer/toaster oven. We have several racks and don’t use all at once but wanted to keep the extra racks on top. Since they are metal we wanted to protect from scratches. This mat works great and handles the heat well.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:These guys are super cool. They don't take up much space in the drawer, easy to use, and easy to hold. They do get a little hot faster than traditional pot holders but never been an issue. Great for putting on the counter to set hot dishes.

Review of Walfos Round Hot Pads. The 12 inch round is just smaller that 12 so that is fits inside my GE microwave glass platter - what I bougth it for. My microwave cavity is a bit high for me and this 'hot pad' allows me to cradle a hot bowl of soup without burning my fingers or slopping it around trying to slide a pot holder uner it. I just pull up the EASY TO GRAB sides and cradel the bowl with the thick insulating sides. There is lies my one conflict in reviewing this product - it has a pattern of ridges or dare say molded grooves in the silicon underneath. The smooth top is easy to wipe and the molding underneath provides a small lip around the top both to catch boilovers and splashes as well as easy grab point to fold up the hot pad around what you are heating. BUT those grooves / ridges are a pain in the arse to rinse out and DRY. You can not simply put the pad back into the microwave - the water will be trapped between the pad and glass and boil when next used. That water can pop, make steam in cavity and make for hot spots underneath what you are cooking. Simply let it drain - So I now have a clip under micowave to let it drip dry onto stovetop before next use. But it is so useful that I did not ding it to 4 stars

I bought these silicone trivets to use with a sealing wax warmer and melting spoon, both of which get hot to the touch. So far, so good! They work perfectly for that purpose. I also plan to use them for resting other items that might heat up with use, such as drill bits, Dremel attachments, soldering iron, etc. The mats are large enough to hold these items but small enough to store in a studio drawer. The waffle design makes them strong but also lighter weight than solid mats would be. They're versatile and a good value for the money.

I love these. I have had them a few years and they have saved my countertops many times! I am a small baker so the silicone versus cork is absolutely wonderful. I also bake a lot of sourdough and these are perfect for setting my Dutch ovens down on! Easy to use and easy to clean!

I needed these mats to protect my counters for a buffet that included a lot of hot food: pyrex from the oven, and 2 full size disposable aluminum trays from a restaurant . They were sturdy, thick enough and functioned well. It was useful to have both sizes and will be used again.
