I use this with a lot of force and weight on it to adhere evenly hot glue on archival work I do in restoring 100-year-old maps. I purchased another brand on Amazon that was highly rated and had a small handle but it broke right at the contact points for the roller on one side within a month. If you want heavy duty this is excellent and the material the roller is made of is very easy to clean because I get hot glue on it and it doesn't stick to it it's easy to clean it off.

This roller works great when affixing a material to a flat surface. Longer handle halos with the reach across a surface.

Used This item for applying peel and stick floor tile. This item was heavier than I thought which is good since you need some weight to smooth out the vinyl to make sure it sticks. The item is very sturdy, and will use again for future projects, It would be good to help you smooth out contact paper and perhaps wallpaper application as well.

I've used this twice, to roll laminate sheets onto mdf or plywood, and I was very pleased. Without a handle above the wheel, some users may feel awkward trying to roll with intense pressure, but the grip on this is so solid that one hand will probably do the job.

I loved the price and it rolls tape great. Lowe’s has a zip brand roller and it’s 50.00. Why it costs that much is beyond me. I had both in my hand and the one I bought was every bit as good for one third the price. Great value
