Would expect more from on of the top medical instruments brand
Good and easy to use for quick inspection .It’s a pocket sized otoscope not the best : to small observation window , not the finest material, potentiometer lacks of accuracy.Would expect more.

Best $150 I ever spent. EM doc, bought it to check on my daughter’s ears at home. So good, I might buy another to carry with me at the hospital.

BUT WHERE'S THE BUILT-IN THROAT ILLUMINATOR?
Ordered specific otoscope with built in throat illuminator, except there is no throat illuminator. The seal was broken, and the barrel clearly used, with the otoscope head unable to accommodate the throat illuminator. I ordered an exact replacement and was informed that despite the content of the listing, NO THROAT ILLUMINATOR was even available. I cancelled the replacement and the original order. The listing is INACCURATE. NO THROAT ILLUMINATOR, and the Welch-Allyn holographic seal was broken and taped.

Short battery Life
This can go through batteries every few days if you see many patients.I like the convenience of the smaller size but only use this as a backup if I misplace the standard equipment I generally use. I would give the quality a low rating, after 1 year and a half of infrequent use the switch that you pivot to turn it on must be shorting out. When I crank it on it may not come on at all or may have only a dim light until I fiddle with it enough then it will finally shine brightly as it should.
