Broan-NuTone CT150B Floor Brush

Our 37 yr old central vac nozzle needed a replacement. Couldn’t be more pleased. It’s not as wide as the original but works much better. Sits a little higher but still fits under furniture and the suction is perfect. I just had the whole house refloored with LVT and the dust and debris one brings in on their shoes comes right up. So glad I can still use the central vac.

I bought this to replace my old hardwood floor attachment, for which the rubber on the smallest wheels had worn away and thus caused scratches on my hardwoord floors. I used this just once so far. The rubber on the wheels is great. I don't have any concerns with scratching my hardwood floors. The height above the floor provides the perfect balance of suction and ability to capture bigger pieces of dirt/debris. My last floor attachment was too close to the floor and I had to lift it to pick up larger pieces of debris. My only complaint about this new one is that it cannot fit under my bed and dressers. My old attachment fit under everything, so I'm disappointed I'll have to use another tool to get under the beds and dressers. But overall, I would definitely buy this product again.

So there's an issue the consumer ought to be aware of. This is not a rugged machine. In fact it's downright dainty. Look at the image with your screen's brightness turned up. You'll notice the cylindrical portion in the back to which your vacuum neck tube attaches. That part swivels in a 180 degree fashion to allow you more mobility. Nice.Now look at the blocky piece of plastic between the cylindrical piece and the high gloss black plastic centerpiece. That is a portion that swivels up and down to provide better suction while pushing and pulling. It keeps the head firmly on the floor. Again, nice.What they don't tell you is that the blocky piece is made out of cartoonishly thin plastic that will break as soon as you handle it roughly. Seriously, like less that 10 pieces of printer paper thin. I bought it for a restaurant and sucked up a French fry. Sometimes those get caught but with the 12 year old one that needed replacing one would simply slap the head flat against the ground a few times and the fries would fly up the spout. This one decided to shatter the blocky plastic part as soon as I tried that. Very irritating.I have to buy another one now and man o man, this thing really has me irked.So buyer beware, but in truth it operates just fine apart from that issue.

The dual purpose head has excellent suction power and does a great job picking up dirt from both our floors and carpets. Very pleased with this purchase. Highly recommended!

Worked just as I expected it to. I had bought one for about $65 at a vacuum store and it was terrible! The guy wouldn’t allow me to return it because he said that once it was used he couldn’t sell it again. I will never go back there again, and I am so glad I found this one on this site. Thank you!
