Perfect for small jobs
This is a fabulous product, even if it takes a little practice to use it right for DIY blunderers such as myself. I needed to run a bead of sealant along the edge of some newly fitted shower doors, but didn't want the expense and hassle of a full sealant tube, or the fact that I'd than have a barely-used tube of sealant that I had to store somewhere for years until I finally threw it out when it went hard. This is a fabulous invention, like a can of squirty whipped cream, but for sealant. It dispenses the perfect size bead easily and silently, and is easy to use. The sealant itself is indistinguishable from "proper" profesionally-applied sealant. My tips for usage after trial and error would be:1. If you can, practice on something first, since I found that my first attempt was rubbish but I quickly got the hang of it.2. Don't scrimp for the sake of a quid or two, buy the bundle with the spatula/scraper - its essential and makes life a lot easier.3. Keep a rag or kitchen roll handy to wipe excess from the spatula on to4. Use less than you think you need to - when you then spread with the spatula, it "fills in" any small gapsOverall I found that there was very little mess using this, and it is a great solution to "small job" DIY tasks around the house. I think its good value for money too at the listed price, especially since it is complete/all-in-one and doesn't require a 'gun'/trigger frame. Very happy to recomend the product and would definitely buy again.

Easy sealing with an effective and good looking result ~ shame about the instructions...
Bought this for the wall joint behind a bathroom basin, so didn't need much. As some reviewers have already mentioned, the font size used on the back of the can is ridiculously small (must be must be size 3-4 at most), and as these are the only instructions and safety suggestions provided with the product, it proved tricky to know how to get at the sealant and use it correctly.Having sold my microscope, I was advised by a local millennial to do what they all do, and photograph the instructions, to be read the on the phone after magnifying them (please see attached photo of the can next to a AA battery for reference). However, it was still not clear how to get the sealant flowing, as it is neither mentioned that the nozzle has to be pressed onto the joint, nor that the loop of metal is a safety catch arrangement to avoid accidental issue. Trial, error and swearing seemed to work eventually. That being said, once access to the sealant was finally gained, it turned out that the consistency and colour were both good, the silicon sticks well and is easy to work to a smooth finish. All in all, this is a good product, but the delivery system could be simpler and the instructions more user-friendly.

Great stuff. Super easy.
Great stuff.. really easy to use. Its quite small but I resealed my bathroom. And still had some left. so goes along way. Loved that I didn't need a chaulking gun to do it too. Bit expensive but super convenient. And that's what I paid for.

A bit pricey but worth it
This is a bit more expensive than some other brands, but the formula is easy to work with and made sealing around the bath really easy. The mechanism to use the product is also easy to use. It’s been about four months and it’s holding up well and hasn’t discoloured or come loose.

Probably needs practice but end result was fine.
Not at all easy to use. Not easy to use as the can is chunky and has a strange trigger. Different consistency to usual sip cone. Hard to use in the intended way, strange functionality. Very messy tbh. It's a thinner feeling thickness to normal silicone but the coverage is difficult to gauge. I squeezed it out then treated it as normal silicone. The seal is very good and I finished it as I usually would with normal silicone. A brilliant white finish with good slex and a perfect seal.If you use these regularly so could get a long term feel for how they work they're probably really good as you average one use bin it and not use again for years then but it's awkward and messy.I will try again if needed because the end result was fine but that was down to my soapy finger not how the product was squeezed onto the tiles.

Great product
Love the versatility of this product, really easy to use to touch up areas particularly in the bathroom. Easy to control the flow and would buy again.

TRICKY TO OPEN AND BUY 2 OR ONE LARGE ONE?
After struggling to get the silicone to come out of the tube i found it easy to apply. It says one small tube will do 5 metres but i doubt that as that would be for a very thin line of silicone. I actually sealed the outer panel of the bath where it meets the floor as there was a 6 ml gap so i had to apply a thick line of sealant and i ran out of sealant halfway through the job. Luckily i bought 2 small tubes so i had enough, i used both of the tubes entirely. If you are sealing around the back of the bath at the join with the tiles one tube might be enough if you apply a very thin line of sealant. If you were to buy the big tube and you have some left it will probably go to waste as it will harden and be difficult to get out of the tube.. but by buying 2 you can keep the second one unopened if not used. My method was...1. Remove old sealant and dust etc.2. Use non stick kitchen sponge to remove any remaining sealant and roughen slightly area to be sealed.3. Kill any mould with a mould spray, allow to dry.4. Wipe area with meths or rubbing alcohol with damp cloth and allow to dry.5. Use masking tape along the line/s you wish to seal to give a sharp clean edge.6. Open the tube as per instructions (tricky!) and seal gap as directed. Wear tight gloves.7. Smooth as soon as possible with in 5 minutes with a wet gloved finger. You can use a smoothing tool as shown in the listing but i always end up using a wet finger afterwards.8. Remove masking tape after smoothing the sealant, check for gaps etc and your done ..don't get sealant wet for 24 hours.
